I'm not sure on pardoning or not, but at this point I'm fairly certain he won't win again. But American politics at the national level have lost all semblance of sanity, so who knows.

Trump can avoid prosecution without pardoning himself. But would he do so just for the sake of setting a precedent?

I don't think it'll come to the point where he has to pardon himself, but I do think he loses re-election.

He doesn't pardon himself because he doesn't get indicted, impeached, convicted, etc. he gets off scot-free as usual. I'm 50-50 on whether he gets re-elected or not. Something like this definitely helps him though.
