Rick: Trump; Viva Kennedy kid who gets disillusioned with US politics in the late '60s and early '70s, writes in some humorous protest votes whenever there's a war going on, really hates Bush but sees Gore and Kerry as the same, Paulbot in '08 and '12, Sanders in the primaries and Trump in the general in '16, anti-lockdown in '20, won't be voting Trump in '24 though
Morty: Biden; generic progressive Democrat early on but gets disillusioned and eventually sees US politics as insignificant like Rick, still cares enough in 2020 to vote Biden to get rid of Trump, may still have a soft spot for Obama ("President Curtis") as a person given their adventures together
Summer: Biden; generic progressive Democrat
Jerry: Trump; smug mediocre white male suburban centrist anti-bellwether Gore-Kerry-McCain-Romney-Clinton-Trump voter
Beth: Biden; voted Trump in 2016 because she wanted to be on Rick's side and the opposite of Jerry, but totally regrets it and starts working through her daddy issues by 2020
Birdperson: Hawkins; anti-imperialist revolutionary
Squanchcy: Jorgensen; ditto but doesn't seem as principled about it
Mr. Poopybutthole: Biden; anti-gun lib, was a college professor
Krombopulos Michael: Trump; pro-gun mercenary
Jessica: Biden; progressive Democrat early on and a motivating factor in Morty's own leanings, but just like Morty her outlook changed dramatically after thousands of years alone with her thoughts and probably won't care about voting in 2024
Planetina: Hawkins; her handlers had her vote straight-ticket Democrat until she was freed and became more radical
