Half of D's voted for a state that hasn't gone D in a presidential election since 1992, and hasn't gone D in a election without Ross Perot getting a quarter of the vote since the Voting Rights Act.

-It voted for Bernie in the primary, nearly went for Obama in 2008, and had two Dem Senators as recently as 2015.

-It voted for Bernie in the primary, nearly went for Obama in 2008, and had two Dem Senators as recently as 2015.

It still went for McCain/Palin over Obama/Biden in 2008. Maybe this is a premonition of a Bullock nomination.

The Democrats in Montana are better than the nation as a whole.

Virginia's yuppie D v neokkkonfederate R dynamic is utterly terrible.

How else do you tell a state's politics besides it's results, though? If you're a Republican, it doesn't matter if you think DC has the best Republican party in the country. Or at least, it shouldn't.
