The only modern-day LA politician beyond a few "some dudes" in the state legislature that isn't pro-life is Mary Landrieu, but even she was to the right of the Washington establishment on the issue.
I think her Brother is pro-choice too. Not surprising since NO is a liberal area in what is otherwise a very conservative state

^ Exactly. When i looked at scorecards of Louisiana's  "right to life" even i was mildly surprised to see 90% of Democratic caucus being pro-life. I know no other state where such situation exist..

The TN Right to Life also has very favorable ratings for most Democratic state legislators (the few that still exist that is- since the State Senate is 28-5 and the House 74-25).

Then - why have you defeated Dunlap? Excellent conservative Democrat)))))

At the risk of blatant self promotion, an article I wrote for DDHQ on the runoff.

^ Thanks! Very interesting! In time i expect from you a paper about "Acadiana white Democrats" (probably - a majority of all remaining white Democrats in Louisiana's legislature). Montoucet, Armes and other... Most of them are term-limited in 2019, and i am reasonably sure that Republicans will be elected in place of many of them. With other "very difficult to defend" white districts, like Gisclair's, Hill's and Danahay's, Democratic caucus in Louisiana legislature may become as heavily black as in Alabama (or, at least - Mississippi)

^ I'd bet that between Gisclair, Hill, or Danahay, one of them has the most R legislative seat held by a Dem, outside of Appalachia.
