I had a criminal law prof who had this penchant of asking the class "what am I thinking?"  After the third or so redux of this curious behavior, my mind was suffused with this almost irresistible impulse to inform  him that we were law students, in contradistinction to psychology students, and that perhaps he should ponder the issue of whether or not he had stumbled into the wrong class room.
