Senator Marco Rubio, the Republican nominee, is endorsed by Clint Eastwood, Chuck Norris, Robert Downey Jr, Bruce Willis and fellow Floridian Dwayne Johnson.

Milwaukee is one of our greatest contributors to America's prosperity through the development of its industry and the Menomonee Valley as well as the Harley-Davidson Museum (a great symbol of America's famous reputation as manufacturing job creator) represent a major example of this matter of fact. Thanks to Milwaukee's access to Lake Michigan and to other Great Lakes, this city, just like all the Midwest and just like all America benefits from free trade. The reason of such prosperity in the Midwest and then to all America is that we put government aside and send it a message that made sure that he should understand that the procedure to keep our prosperity alive is to cut taxes for all Americans, champion businesses, get us energy independence, promote free trade and reduce the cost of doing business in America. That's what I will do as President of the United States to get America back to work.

My friends, I'm here today to announce you who will be my running mate and the next Vice-President of the United States. It's a great reformer. It's a leader who lived the American Dream and grew up in a hard working middle class family just like I did. It's a leader who has the best business experience and background to make a great contribution to America's economic growth. It's a leader who understands the terrible living conditions of our veterans since having a husband sent on a year-long deployment to Afghanistan and a brother who is a retired member of the United States Army Chemical Corps who proudly served our country in the Gulf War. It's a leader who ensured it's state's prosperity by reducing the cost of doing business there, thus making this place the most favourable environment for businesses in the United States, which helped this right-to-work state to attract some large companies like BMW and brought positive effects as well as other companies by reducing corporate income tax rate to 5 %, by abolishing state property tax, local income tax, inventory tax, sales tax on manufacturing equipment, wholesale tax and unitary tax on worldwide profits and by having industrial power or materials for finished products, which boosted job creation and innovation. It's also a leader who managed to keep our country together even after one of the worst shootings in America's history that killed 9 African-Americans in a church at the summer of 2015 by successfully campaigning in favor of removing the Confederate flag from the local State Capitol and it's grounds. That's the right way to defend America's greatness as diversified, united, fair and prosperous country.

Thank you so much my friends! Thank you Marco! I'm honored and proud to be selected as your running mate and to contribute to a decisive and great change for our country. And it's an honor to serve America alongside the next President of the United States Marco Rubio.

As Senator Rubio said, I have, just like him, the best background to understand what hard working means since I lived the American Dream. I was born to an Indian Sikh family that came from India to America before my birth. At the age of 12, I began helping with the bookkeeping in Exotica International, my mother's ladies' clothing shop. Then I joined Exotica International ten years later grew to become a multimillion-dollar company. I was named to the board of directors of directors of the Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce before being named to the board of directors of the Lexington Chamber of Commerce and becoming president of the South Carolina Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. As Governor of South Carolina, I reduced the cost of doing business in the Palmetto State, reduced corporate income tax rate to 5 %, abolished state property tax, local income tax, inventory tax, sales tax on manufacturing equipment, wholesale tax and unitary tax on worldwide profits, which helped my state to have industrial power or materials for finished products and boosted job creation and innovation. These pro-growth policies made South Carolina the best place to open a new business and reduced the local unemployment rate from 12 % to 5 % during my governorship. I know what it takes to create jobs, to get America back to work and to restore the American Dream just as Marco Rubio does. He will cut taxes for all Americans, champion businesses of all sizes, reduce the cost of doing business in America (which will make America the best place in the world to open a business), promote energy independence by making sure that we take advantage of all of our sources of energy (oil, gas, coal, nuclear, electricity, wind, solar energy, etc.), promote free trade to reduce the cost of trading and make us competitive in the world economy, reform our education system to give our children a chance to get the best job they can be dreaming about and to create the jobs of tomorrow, reform our immigration system, balance our budget, develop our infrastructures through a part of future budget surpluses and reduce our national debt caused by big government policies that kept us from becoming energy independent, increased taxes on the American people and our businesses and increased poverty. That's how Marco Rubio and I will make America more prosperous than it was ever before and get people out of poverty.

Marco Rubio is a great leader who understands what it takes to make the world safe again in this time of growing international terrorism. He will increase defense budget, strengthen and modernize our military and send all the necessary troops and arsenal to defeat ISIS, Al Qaida and international terrorism. He will use all the necessary diplomatic skills he has as well as the necessary arsenal to defend Ukraine from Vladimir Putin's tyranny and corruption, stop Iran and North Korea from pursuing the development of their nuclear programs and to restore international territorial integrity.

I overcome to keep our country together after one of the worst shootings in America's history that killed 9 African-Americans in a church in Charleston at the summer of 2015. I successfully campaigned to remove the Confederate flag from the local State Capitol and it's grounds. Marco Rubio will keep our country together by reforming our immigration system to give immigrants a chance to earn American citizenship and promote school choice. That's the right thing to do to give all ethnic minorities and young people living in America a chance to live the American Dream as Marco Rubio and I did.

Marco Rubio and I will lead America into brighter days by making it fairer, more prosperous, safer and more united than it was ever before. We have a Hispanic at the top of our ticket and an Asian-American woman serving as his running mate. Today, we have shown America that the Republican Party is not only the party of old white men, but the party of ALL Americans. We are the party of diversity, not the Democrats. He improved his party's ability to attract Asian American and African American voters. It also ensures rural voters', including former Trump supporters, orientation to Rubio. As a result, Rubio increased his lead in Midwestern battleground states such as Michigan, Wisconsin and Iowa. This week, Marco Rubio, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, is endorsed by conservative political advocacy group called Americans for Prosperity. The Florida Senator also received an endorsement from former Connecticut Democratic Senator and 2000 Democratic vice-presidential nominee Joe Lieberman who endorsed John McCain in 2008 and described Rubio as the « most qualified candidate to keep our country safe and to defeat terrorism. »

James Comey calls Hillary Clinton « extremely careless »

On July 5, FBI Director James Comey announced that he would not recommend charges against Clinton for her use of a private email server during her time as secretary of state. However, Comey does note that Clinton and her aides were "extremely careless" handling classified information.

Terrorist attacks in Nice, France

On July 14, while France is celebrating Bastille Day, a Tunisian terrorist named Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel recruited by ISIS drove a 19 tonne cargo truck was deliberately driven into crowds on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, France, resulting in the deaths of 86 people and injuring 434. The attack ended following an exchange of gunfire, during which Lahouaiej-Bouhlel was shot and killed by police.

On 15 July, French President François Hollande called the attack an act of Islamic terrorism, announced an extension of the state of emergency (which had been declared following the November 2015 Paris attacks) for a further three months, and announced an intensification of French airstrikes against ISIS in Syria and Iraq.

Not a surprise that they'd endorse him (or any Republican of course) but Rubio would probably result in the AFP organization really kicking their turnout operation into high gear. The right way to boost our manufacturing industry is not to rip our free trade deals as Hillary Clinton is suggesting. If we want to revive and boost our manufacturing industry, we have to cut taxes and regulations on manufacturing industry and manufacturing businesses. We need to abolish the sales taxes on manufacturing equipment. That way, we're going to make our manufacturing industry dynamic again and much more able to be competitive, to produce, to manufacture, to sell and to create good-paying manufacturing jobs. That's exactly what Nikki Haley, my running mate, did when she was Governor of South Carolina, which contributed to a reduction of the unemployment rate from 12 % to 5 % in her home state during the six years of her governorship.

America's prosperity comes from the ingenuity and entrepreneurship and hard work of the American people. So we need to put the government aside and cut taxes for all the American people, for business owners and for our manufacturing industry. That's how America will reclaim its economic strength and prosperity for all the American people.

Here we stand, in front of the replica of the Eiffel Tower, built in Paris to celebrate the centennial of the French Revolution that freed the French people from tyranny and corruption and during which was signed the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen, a rampart defending the following values that we are sharing : « liberty, property, security and resistance to oppression ». But in the last few years, ISIS committed two terrorist attacks in Paris in 2015 and expanded its operations around the world through further terrorist attacks, threatening our values of liberty, gender equality, justice, freedom of religion and freedom of speech.

Today, while the French people was celebrating Bastille Day, a basic element of freedom, liberty and democracy, ISIS committed a new attack against our French allies in Nice, killing 86 people. This is another attack against freedom and integrity. I offer the victims' families my condolences on their loved ones.

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton neglected the fight for freedom by cutting defense spending needed to fight radical Islamic terrorism and prevent further terrorist attacks. We have to stand with our allies, including France and together, we will defeat ISIS and international terrorism like the evil it is just like we won the American Revolution together and won the two world wars together. As President, I will not only increase defense spending and our military's readiness but also strengthen our military alliances because we have common goals with our allies : reinforcing security and defending liberty, justice and integrity. By deploying ground troops and expanding our military alliances, we will destroy radical Islamic terrorists, whether it's ISIS, Al Qaida, Hezbollah, Al-Nusra Front, Al-Shabaab or Boko Haram, then assist countries in the throes of terrorism in their reconstruction by training new armed forces, building houses, schools, groceries, markets, hospitals and police stations as well as by creating democratic institutions to reinforce security, freedom, democracy and justice, which will reinforce peace and save many innocent lives around the world as well as liberty and justice.

One month ago, we suffered the worst terrorist attack on the U.S. soil since 9/11. Yesterday, ISIS killed 86 innocent people in Nice, France, one of our greatest allies. We have to make sure that this kind of tragedy never happens again here in America and abroad. That requires fighting international terrorism, especially in the Middle East. But if we want to make our antiterrorist fight successful, we have to reinforce and expand our strategic alliances and then, through military strength, we will defeat ISIS and Al Qaida. Such stronger alliances will, through stronger pressure on Tehran, make sure that Iran never gets nuclear weapons. It will make sure that Iran will use its nuclear energy not for military purposes but for economic purposes. Nuclear energy should be used for Iran's economic growth. And as long as Iran acts like this, there will be no need to intervene militarily against Iran, which will reinforce international security and peace. That's why Senator Warner and I are co-sponsoring and now introducing the Bipartisan Counterterrorist Coalition Act.

-In the context of growing terrorist threat after the terrorist attacks in Orlando on June 12 and in Nice a few days ago, Marco Rubio's campaign broadcasts a television ad similar to Ronald Reagan's 1984 « There is a bear in the woods », that was, at the time, promoting a strong national security against the Soviet Union symbolized by a bear. It also reminds George W. Bush's 2004 T.V. ad titled « Wolves » that called for stronger national security against terrorism that was represented by wolves in this ad. It's also reminiscent of Ted Cruz's 2015 ad titled « Scorpion » in which a scorpion represented ISIS.

Marco Rubio's T.V. ad titled « A cougar is waiting in the weeds » featured a cougar representing  radical Islamic terrorism. It also features a cyclist riding in cougar's mountainous territory and a park warden. This commercial's goal is to call on the American people to stay vigilant against the threat posed to the United States by radical Islamic terrorism (especially ISIS, Al Qaida, the Hezbollah, Boko Haram, etc.) and to promote a strong national defense to eradicate this threat. The ad airs in Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Colorado, Nevada and New Mexico.

Narrator : In the mountainous deserts of the West, the cougar, one of the greatest most dangerous and deadly predators in America, is waiting in the weeds, just like jihadists are preparing to attack at anytime around the world.

On the cougar's territory, we can't afford to lack vigilance just like we can't afford to lower our guard against radical Islamic terrorism by cutting in the budget defense and military spending.

The cougar is preparing to pounce on his next defenceless prey.

But if we increase security on this territory, this threat can be removed, thus saving this cyclist's life, just like we can defeat the threat posed to the United States and its allies by jihadism by increasing defense spending and deploying all the necessary military arsenal to defeat radical Islamic terrorism, thus saving innocent lives and defending democracy, freedom, justice, integrity and security.

You know, I've been around a while and I've been around the Clintons more than anybody should ever have to be. A couple of years ago, Bill and Hillary camped out in my state, telling anyone who'd listen, why they ought to vote against me. Tonight, I'm here to return the favor.

I'm here to tell you Hillary Clinton will say anything, do anything, and be anything to get elected president, and we cannot allow it. The American people are tired of hearing about the bounty of government while the cost of caring for a family, or meeting daily expenses grows out of reach. Over the past few years they've seen government abuse their office and get rewarded for it. They've seen the middle class actually shrink. And, in the midst of this, they've raised a very simply complaint.

Hillary Clinton lied about her emails. She lied about her server. She lied about Benghazi. She even lied about sniper fire. So, I ask you a simple question, at a moment when so many feel betrayed by their government, why in the world would Democrats put forward such a candidate. Hillary has changed her positions so many times it's impossible to tell where the conviction ends and the the ambition begins. In 2010 she said Iran could enrich uranium. In 2014 she said she'd always argued against it. Once a backer of the Keystone Pipeline, last year she opposed it. Once a supporter of free trade, Hillary Clinton now opposes the Trans-Pacific Partnership. She used to be against sanctuary cities, then she claims she was for them. Now, we're not sure where she is.

Fortunately there's a clear choice before us, and it's not Hillary. You know what the next four years will look like with Hillary, and you know if Hillary is president we'll continue to slide, distracted by the scandals that follow the Clintons like flies.

Two years ago voters delivered a clear verdict on the Obama years by sending a freshman class of rock-star Republicans to the Senate, and delivering us a majority that I promise to make you proud of. We never hesitate to confront the President, but we also do the hard work of tackling urgent problems head on. And, we delivered on that promise.

We put Obamacare repeal on the President's desk, he vetoed it. Marco Rubio will sign it. We passed a bill to finally build a Keystone Pipeline, Obama vetoed it. Marco Rubio will sign it. We passed a bill to defund Planned Parenthood, Obama vetoed it. Marco Rubio will sign it. And, on that sad day when we lost Justice Scalia, I made another pledge that Obama would not fill his seat. That honor will go to Marco Rubio next year. So, with Marco Rubio in the White House Senate Republicans will build on the work we've done and pass more bills into law than any Senate in years. We've already passed the first major education reform in more than a decade, and ended Common Core. We made the first significant reforms to Social Security in three decades. We passed a crucial cybersecurity bill, we imposed sanctions on North Korea, we passed the first major highway bill in more than a decade, we passed a bill to combat the scourge of human trafficking, and just last week we passed the first major law aimed at confronting the heart breaking explosion of heroin and opioid abuse.

So, my friends, keep the Senate in Republican hands and we'll continue this work and the remarkable public servants that I'm proud to lead in the Senate will not let you down. But, put Hillary Clinton in the White House and I promise you this, she will double down on the cynical approach that Senate Democrats seem to revel in these days. As we sit here tonight, a terrifying mosquito born illness threatens expectant mothers and their babies along our southern coast. And, just last week, just last week, Clinton Democrats in the Senate blocked a bill aimed at eradicating that virus before it can spread. And, they weren't finished. They blocked the Defense Funding bill, a bill that would support the brave men and women who are right now defending us overseas. That's why we need Marco Rubio and Nikki Haley at the White House.

Marco Rubio is a great and trusted leader and a strong legislator with great accomplishments : in the U.S. Senate, he cosponsored the AGREE Act, a bill that gave tax credits for veterans opening a business franchise, so it helps them to find a good paying job and to prosper after their military service. He co-sponsored the 2014 VA reform law by introducing a measure empowering the VA secretary to hold managers accountable for incompetence, negligence and corruption and to care more about veterans than bureaucrats. He successfully introduced a bill that increased sanctions against Hezbollah. Last month, after the terrorist attacks in Orlando, Marco Rubio successfully co-sponsored the Terror Intelligence Improvement Act that is keeping guns away from suspected terrorists while protecting the Second Amendment for the American people. And a few days ago, after the terrorist attack in Nice, he introduced the Bipartisan Counterterrorist Coalition Act that would reinforce defence ties with Turkey, Iraq, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India in order to create a greater collaboration with these countries to fight terrorism in the Middle East through military strength. This bill will also deter Iran from getting nuclear weapons by increasing sanctions against Iran unless Tehran uses its nuclear energy not for military purposes but for economic purposes. Nuclear energy should be used for Iran's economic growth. That's how we're going to ensure peace without a war against Iran. During all his current career in the Senate, Marco Rubio demonstrated his ability to bring Republicans and Democrats together in order to get things done for the sake of America's future. I am proud of Marco Rubio's accomplishments. That's exactly the kind of leadership we need in the White House.

Nikki Haley is a woman of integrity, honor and audacity. Thanks to Marco Rubio's membership among the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship and Nikki Haley's business knowledge as a member of the board of directors of the Chambers of Commerce of the Orange County and Lexington and as president of the South Carolina Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Marco Rubio and Nikki Haley, both children of immigrants and strong defenders of the American Dream, will form a formidable team in terms of job creation. Nikki Haley has proved to be a formidable leader and effective leader as well. As Governor of South Carolina, she reduced the cost of doing business in the Palmetto State, reduced corporate income tax rate to 5 %, abolished state property tax, local income tax, inventory tax, sales tax on manufacturing equipment, wholesale tax and unitary tax on worldwide profits, which helped my state to have industrial power or materials for finished products and boosted job creation and innovation. These pro-growth policies made South Carolina the best place to open a new business and reduced the local unemployment rate from 12 % to 5 % during my governorship. She managed to keep our country together after one of the worst shootings in America's history that killed 9 African-Americans in a church in Charleston at the summer of 2015. She successfully campaigned to remove the Confederate flag from the local State Capitol and it's grounds.

Together, President Rubio and Vice-President Haley will use their leadership to get things done and America's future will be bright and that's how we're going give our country and our people a path to a New American Century that will give us stronger economic prosperity, stronger freedom, stronger national unity, stronger integrity and stronger national security.

My name is Patricia Smith. My son Sean was one of four brave Americans killed during the 2012 terrorist attack at Benghazi.

Sean was a wonderful son and father to my two amazing grandchildren, Samantha and Nathan, now 10 and 11.

He was proud to serve his country with the United States Foreign Service. The last time I talked to Sean, the night before the terrorist attack, he told me, “Mom, I am going to die.”

All security had been pulled from the embassy, he explained. And when he asked why, he never received a response.

Nobody listened. Nobody seemed to care. The very next day, he was murdered by radical Islamic terrorists.

To this day, I don’t even know why a computer guy like Sean was sent to Benghazi. That night, we lost sons, brothers, fathers, and husbands. We lost four brave Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice for the country they chose to serve. And, the American people lost the truth.

For all of this loss, for all of this grief, for all of the cynicism the tragedy in Benghazi has wrought upon America, I blame Hillary Clinton.

I blame Hillary Clinton personally for the death of my son.

In an email to her daughter shortly after the attack, Hillary Clinton blamed it on terrorism.

But when I saw Hillary Clinton at Sean’s coffin ceremony, just days later, she looked me squarely in the eye and told me a video was responsible.

Since then, I have repeatedly asked Hillary Clinton to explain to me the real reason why my son is dead.

I’m still waiting.

Whenever I called the State Department, no one would speak to me because they say I am “not a member of the immediate family.”

Sean is my son.

How could she do this to me? How could she do this to any American family? Marco Rubio is everything Hillary Clinton is not. He is blunt, direct, and strong. He speaks his mind, and his heart.

And, when it comes to the threat posed by radical Islamic terrorism, Marco Rubio will not hesitate to kill the terrorists who threaten American lives. Marco Rubio will make America stronger not weaker.

This entire campaign comes down to a single question : If Hillary Clinton can’t give us the truth why should we give her our trust to keep us safe?

Marco Rubio will keep us safe by reinforcing embassy security and our security measures here and abroad, by increasing our intelligence services' counterterrorism budgets, by increasing our defense budget, by strengthening and modernizing our military and by striking terrorists wherever they are through our military power. That way, our military as well as all American servicemen like my son Sean will have all the necessary materials and readiness to combat radical Islamic terrorism.

Almost 15 years ago, on September 11 2001, America suffered the worst terrorist attack in all its history. This day, Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaida killed over 3000 Americans. Many families suffered and cried from the loss of their beloved ones. They attacked us for what we believe. These terrorist attacks were an offense committed against the American Dream, democracy, justice and freedom.

But after 9/11, we fought back by declaring war on international terror, by reinforcing our security measures, by reinforcing our military and our partnerships with our allies and by intervening militarily in Afghanistan, thus toppling the tyrannical Taliban regime and destroying Al Qaida's bases. Then, in 2011, it was with great honor and patriotism that I participated at the Operation Neptune's Spear in Abbottabad, Pakistan, in which I killed Osama Bin Laden. Justice is done!

Right now, the Obama Administration committed a serious mistake by withdrawing our troops from Iraq too early, thus allowing the rise ISIS who is controlling an important part of the Iraqi and Syrian territories and is committing many waves of terrorist attacks against allies and against us. Over last year, we saw it in Garland, Texas. We saw it in San Bernardino, California. And we saw it in Orlando, Florida. I'm here to say « that's enough! »

Marco Rubio will reverse this situation. He has the best foreign policy experience and judgement to keep America safe and that's why I support Marco Rubio. He will increase defense spending, modernize our military, ensure our military's readiness and he will strengthen and reinforce our alliances. That's how we're going to defeat international terrorism. Marco Rubio will destroy ISIS by sending all the necessary military arsenal and by reinforcing our military alliances, especially in the Middle East, and we will surround ISIS. They will have no chance to escape, they will be attacked from all sides and that's how we're going to defeat Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and bring him to justice, the same way we did to Osama Bin Laden by killing him. We will then rebuild Syria and Iraq to make sure that terrorism will never rise again in this region. That's Marco Rubio's agenda and that's how he will establish a new American safety.

It's an honor, as always, my fellow Republicans, to join you at our national convention as we unanimously nominate my friend Senator Marco Rubio to be the next President of the United States. As a Vietnam War veteran and POW who refused early release in order not to encourage communist propaganda, I've been blessed for so long to play a role in our nation's affairs that I'm conscious only of the debt I owe America because I always put America first before my own interests, and I thank you for the honor.

Over the last few years, terrorism has grown around the world. If we disengage in our fight against terrorism like the Obama administration did by withdrawing in Iraq, ISIS will follow us home just like terrorists followed us home and killed innocent Americans in Garland, San Bernardino and Orlando. ISIS wants Iraq and Syria to be a heaven and a base for radical Islamic extremism to launch further attacks against the United States and its allies. The Middle East is not their ultimate destination. Their ultimate destination is New York City, Washington D.C., Chicago and Phoenix.

We can't allow terrorists to pursue their attacks against us just like Hillary Clinton did on September 11 2012 when radical Islamic terrorists killed 4 U.S. ambassadors in Benghazi, Libya. Hillary Clinton seeks to lower our security measures as well as our military readiness, which will allow terrorists to destroy freedom, democracy, justice and integrity and reinforce the fear they are triggering by killing more innocent people.

Marco Rubio will do the exact opposite. He has the right foreign policy experience, knowledge, judgement and leadership to lead this nation and make it safer than ever before. Marco Rubio knows that we need stronger American leadership and that's why I trust him to be the next commander-in-chief.

He will increase our defense budget, modernize and reinforce our military. He will expand our alliances and partnerships and that's how we're going to defeat ISIS, Al Qaida, Hezbollah and international terrorism.

The so-called nuclear deal with Iran signed by this administration and supported by Hillary Clinton has lifted economic and diplomatic sanctions against Iran, which allowed Iran to get the necessary revenues to keep sponsoring global terrorism and developing its nuclear program and make it able to build nuclear missiles to strike us and our allies, especially Israel. If Israel is annihilated by Iran, this will be not only a disaster but also a genocide that will be committed by Iran. As President of the United States, Marco Rubio will have the courage to take action and keep Iran from taking further money to pursue its insanity. Marco Rubio will make sure that Iran never gets nuclear weapons. He will make sure that Iran will use its nuclear energy not for military purposes but for economic purposes. He will make sure that Iranian nuclear energy will be used for Iran's economic growth. And as long as Iran acts like this, there will be no need to strike Iran, which will reinforce international security and peace.

Russia has violated international territorial integrity over the last few years, especially by invading Georgia in 2008 while I was the Republican nominee, by invading Ukraine and annexing Crimea in 2014 while providing weapons to a pro-Russian insurgency there and by supporting the dictatorial Syrian regime of Bachar al-Assad. We need to stand with our allies and stop Vladimir Putin's madness and insanity. Marco Rubio will do so by reinforcing our local alliances, including Ukraine, Turkey and Poland, reinforcing our military presence on the Black Sea and by providing American weapons to Ukrainian troops. Thanks to military arsenal from the United States, the greatest military power in the world, Ukraine will win and Russia will lose. Our Ukrainian allies will defeat these pro-Russian terrorist groups and give Ukraine back to the Ukrainian people. Syria is led by a terrorist named Bachar al-Assad who is slaying his own people in order to reinforce his power. Assad's tyranny pushed some people in Syria to become radicalized and to convert to radical Islamic terrorism. Assad is one of the responsible of terrorist rise in Syria and all this mess in the Middle East. And yet Russia is supporting Assad diplomatically and militarily for economic purposes. Russia should put the fight against ISIS ahead of its own interests through defending the Assad regime, a procedure that Mr. Putin doesn't embrace. As long as Assad remains in power, our fight against radical Islamic terrorism will be difficult and ineffective. Assad must be removed from power. President Marco Rubio and our allies will ensure that will happen and they will help Syria to establish a democratic government, which will ensure Syria's freedom. That way, Syria will be given back to the Syrian people an Syrians will finally be masters of their own destiny. Our fight against ISIS will be much easier because the Syrian people will have finally regained trust in their government due to integrity and freedom. Democracy, freedom and integrity are elements required to ensure security.

Only together, we will defeat our enemies and keep America as well as all the rest of the world safe and free. Because as Marco Rubio said : United we stand, divided we fall.

Thank you! I'm here to speak to you about how to make America safe. The vast majority of Americans today do not feel safe. They fear for their children and they fear for themselves. It's time for a new American safety.

We reach out our arms with understanding and compassion to those who have lost loved ones because of unjustified police shootings that must be punished. It's time to make America safe again. It's time to make America one again. One America! What happened to Barack Obama's « there's no white America, there's no black America, there is just America »? What happened to it? How did it float away?

I know we can bring America together and make it safe against crime and terrorism because I did it by changing New York City from the « crime capital of America » to the safest large city in the United States, including after we suffered the worst terrorist attack on the U.S. soil in our country's history on September 11 2001. Marco Rubio will keep us safe and free and he will help us to achieve and embrace our greatness.

In the last seven months, there have been five major Islamic extremist terrorists attacks on us and our allies. We must not be afraid to define our enemy. It is Islamic extremist terrorism.

I did not say all of Islam. I did not say most of Islam. I said Islamic extremist terrorism. We know who you are. And we're coming to get you.

Failing to identify them properly maligns all those good Muslims around the world that are killed by them. They are killing more Muslims than anyone else. It also sets up a fear of being politically incorrect that can have serious consequences. It did in San Bernardino. It did it with Major Nidal. The only person who couldn't figure out this was an Islamic extremist terrorist attack was Barack Obama, who called it workplace violence. This is why our enemies see us as weak and vulnerable.

Marco Rubio has said that one of the steps we must follow in order to defeat our enemies is to identify them properly and see the connections between them so we can find them and catch them. To defeat Islamic extremist terrorism we must put them on defense. If they are at war against us, which they have declared, we must commit ourselves to unconditional victory against them.

This includes increasing the FBI's counter-terrorism budget and our budget and defense, reinforcing and modernizing our homeland security and our military, expanding our alliances, striking Islamic extremist terrorists on their territory through military strength and arming the right groups through background checks on them.

This includes undoing one of the worst deals America ever made—Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran that will eventually let them become a nuclear power and put billions of dollars back into a country that the world’s biggest state sponsor of terrorism. Marco Rubio will make sure that any agreement with Iran meets the original goals of the U.N and our allies: a non-nuclear Iran.

Marco Rubio is a leader. He will reassert America’s position as the nation with the best values to lead the world.

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have failed to restore freedom and security in Libya after Qaddafi's fall. Libya is in chaos. Hillary Clinton is accountable for this and much more. Her dereliction of duty and failure to keep our people safe played a major role in the horrific Islamic terrorist murders on September 11-12, 2012 in Benghazi which claimed the lives of four brave Americans : our Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, U.S. Foreign Service Officer Sean Smith, and CIA agents Tyrone S. Woods, and Glen Doherty. May they rest in peace.

And Clinton, and the Obama administration, for political reasons lied about the purpose of the attacks including her lying directly to the families of those who were killed right to their face.

Hillary Clinton's answer to Congress about the death of these four brave Americans because of her failures as Secretary of State was, quote, "What difference at this point does it make?"

What difference does it make? Watch the video for yourself and see the arrogant disregard for American lives lost unnecessarily because of her. And make up your own mind. Anyone who can say that it makes no difference how or why people serving America are killed, should not be entrusted with the awesome responsibility to protect them and us and should not be entrusted to be Commander in Chief. Marco Rubio will change all of that. In short he will lead by leading, not by following.

Now is our last chance to get this country back in the right direction. There is no more time left for us to revive our great country. No more time to repeat the mistakes of the Obama years.

Marco Rubio has a clear and proven leadership in terms of keeping us safe due to his efforts for stronger sanctions against the Hezbollah and his co-sponsored Enhancement Policy Act and his co-sponsored Bipartisan Counter-Terrorism Coalition Act. He is ready to be the next commander-in-chief, he will fight Islamic extremist terrorism until we obtain total, complete and unconditional victory against this evil and America will be safe under Marco Rubio's presidential leadership.

He will make America once again, just like Ronald Reagan did, the shining city on the hill.

Vote for Marco Rubio and Nikki Haley for a safer and freer America and for an America headed in a different, better and brighter direction : greatness.

Thank you, Iowa. It's an honor to be with you in Cleveland and to be on this stage with fellow Veterans; among them are Navy SEAL Rob O'Neill, Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, Special Operations Master Sergeant Jason Beardsley and my colleague, Congressman and Navy S.E.A.L., Ryan Zinke.

I never would have imagined a farm girl like me, from Montgomery County, would have the opportunity to serve as the first woman elected to federal office from Iowa. However, my parents always said to my brother, sister and me, that if we worked hard, anything was possible.

I've had the great privilege of serving my state and our country while working alongside some of our nation's finest soldiers. For 14 months, I served as a company commander during Operation Iraqi Freedom, where my unit was tasked with running convoys through Kuwait and southern Iraq. Last November, after more than 23 years of service, I retired as a lieutenant colonel in the Iowa Army National Guard.

As I travel across Iowa and around our great country, I hear from folks who are worried America is no longer leading but rather following from behind. Those concerns are echoed by our allies around the world and rightfully so. The question I hear time and time again is, where is America's leadership? There's a void in the world, a deficit that cannot be filled by others. Our country and the world of which we are a part simply cannot afford four more years of this lack of leadership under Hillary Clinton. Our allies see us shrinking from our place as a leader in the world, as we have failed time and again to address threats. They are looking for American leaders, leaders who are willing to stand up and say, enough is enough. Unfortunately, Hillary Clinton cannot be trusted. Her judgment and character are not suited to be sitting in the most powerful office in the world. She has already failed us too many times before. Hillary Clinton has failed to stop the expansion of terrorism. Her policies in Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria have created more safe havens for terrorism. Shockingly, she continues to support a policy that brings captured terrorists into our backyards.

Hillary Clinton has failed to support our allies. Her decision to back the Iran Nuclear Deal puts in peril our longtime friends and allies in the region, especially Israel. They have continued to threaten to destroy Israel, both directly and indirectly, through its terrorist proxies such as Hezbollah. They remain the top sponsor of terrorism which endangers not just Israel, but Europe and the United States.

And look, just take a look, folks, at the pathetic track record Hillary Clinton and Obama have in the war on ISIS. This Administration has called them "junior varsity adversaries", ignoring some of the best advice they were given. They represent a threat that is not limited to the Middle East and is spreading rapidly. In fact, according to the FBI, ISIS is present in all 50 states. They will use whatever weapons they have: guns, trucks, knives, poisons, and bombs to kill innocent people. Under this current Administration's wayward policies, ISIS continues to spread, while the President fails to put forward a comprehensive strategy to defeat and destroy them.

Marco Rubio will not hesitate to call radical Islamic terrorism by its name and he will not hesitate to destroy those that wish to harm our great nation. USA!

He will support our allies because it's in America's national security interests. Together, we will win. Unlike Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, Marco Rubio will make sure that we will remain the strongest military power in the world, which requires stronger defense budget and modernization of our military. That's how we're going to defeat ISIS and defend freedom and justice.

For too long, Americans have felt abandoned and their warnings unheard. Marco Rubio has heard these voices loud and clear. We cannot afford four more years of the same failed policies. If that is not enough, the Veterans Administration has been failing those who have served, alongside those of us here on the stage, with scandal after scandal at the highest levels: inferior care, long wait times, extraordinary inefficiency, and a bureaucracy that has gone wild still continues. We need a commander-in-chief who will stand up to our enemies, support our allies, and have our veterans' backs.

We need a leader who will ensure America remains a strong, stabilizing force around the globe and who will keep us safe here at home. Marco Rubio will be that leader. He and Nikki Haley have a clear and decent record when it comes to taking care about our veterans. Marco Rubio has been tested over and over again on foreign policy challenges and every time he succeeded like he will do as President of the United States.

With Hillary Clinton it's always about her; it should be about you. Marco Rubio is focused on you. He gave a voice to a movement of millions of Americans who are tired of politics as usual. I know that as President, Marco Rubio will work tirelessly to keep our nation safe. Now is the time to make America safe again.

I'm so glad and proud to be here at the Republican National Convention to talk about my brother Marco Rubio's gratitude, patriotism and faith for our country.

I proudly served my country in the U.S. military and I'm so proud of my brother Marco Rubio for his service to our country and to veterans, including me, in their post military career. He is the best man to take care of our brave men and women in uniform. Like all of us, Marco is grateful of our veterans' service for America, a strong and beautiful country. cosponsored the AGREE Act, a bill that gave tax credits for veterans opening a business franchise, so it helps them to find a good paying job and to prosper after their military service. He co-sponsored the 2014 VA reform law by introducing a measure empowering the VA secretary to hold managers accountable for incompetence, negligence and corruption and to care more about veterans than bureaucrats because it's another way to reward our veterans for their military service and their sacrifices for America.

After serving their country and fighting tyranny and terrorism, our men and women in uniform need something in return and Marco Rubio knows it. That's why President Marco Rubio will always thank them for their courage and service not only through medals of honour but also through social services and health care services by using the same leadership he adopted in the Senate when it comes to take care of our veterans.

Marco is the most qualified candidate to lead this great and beautiful nation and defend it against terrorists who offended our people in our home state of Florida. As President of the United States, Marco will make our military stronger, make our alliances stronger and make America's security stronger. That's the steps we need to follow to destroy terrorism and save innocent lives.

Like my brother said, if our fellow Americans' American Dreams succeed the 21st Century will be a new American century. This will be the purpose of his presidency. The final verdict on young generations will be written by Americans not yet born. Let us make sure they record that we made the right choice. That in the early years of this century, faced with a rapidly changing and uncertain world, our youth rose to face the great challenges of our time. And because we did, there was still one place in the world where who you come from does not determine how far you can go. Because we did, we kept American miracle alive. And because we did, our children and theirs lived in a new American Century.

For 8 years, we’ve seen what happens when America leads from behind. Leading from behind that’s not what the Army taught me. To everyone who agrees that America should lead the way, let me say loud and clear : help is on the way. And help will go on, which requires electing Marco Rubio.

Let me tell you a story about an Arkansas farm boy. When America was at war, he was in school and then in a comfortable job. But he sacrificed that comfort, against the wishes of his father, who himself had served. He volunteered for the Army. He became an infantryman. That farm boy was my dad. He went to Vietnam in 1969.

Thirty-five years later, I did the same. Against the wishes of my family, I gave up my legal career and I volunteered for the Army. I became an infantryman. I went to Iraq and Afghanistan. My dad said he felt like God was punishing him for what he did to his dad. But God wasn’t punishing them; God had called us to serve. Just as he calls so many of you.

My family isn’t extraordinary; in fact, we’re very ordinary. From farms in Arkansas to fire stations in New York, many families could tell the same story. The defense of this country is a family affair.

We don’t fight because we hate our enemies, but because we love our country. We love its freedom. We love that we’re born equal and live free, that no one rules without consent. We know these things are worth fighting and dying for because they make life worth living for. Our warriors and their families don’t ask for much. But there are a few things we’d like.

We need a commander-in-chief who speaks of winning wars and not merely ending wars, calls the enemy by its name, and draws red lines carefully, but enforces them ruthlessly. Marco Rubio will be this kind of commander-in-chief and he knows what it takes to defeat terrorism and tyranny and to keep our country safe. We also need politicians who treat our common defense as the chief responsibility of our federal government, not just another government program.

This isn’t much to ask for, but eight years without it is more than enough. So I say again : In a Rubio/Haley administration and with a Republican Congress, help is on the way.

No man wants more war if he’s planned memorial services for fallen comrades, carried their flag-draped caskets off a plane, and buried them at Arlington National Cemetery.

But as George Washington said: “ To be prepared for war is one of the most effectual means of preserving peace. ”

The purpose of our common defense, after all, is to protect our people so that we can enjoy the blessings of peacefaith, freedom, family, prosperity. My father and his father were willing to fight so that their children and grandchildren might live in peace. That wasn’t to be. But my generation is willing to fight so that our children might live in peace.

And for that cause, I speak tonight not only to Republicans, but to the millions of Independents and Democrats who share that dream and who wish to establish a new American safety.

Thank you ladies and gentlemen, delegates, fellow Republicans and fellow Americans for being here tonight. And thank you Cleveland for hosting this great Republican National Convention here in the great state of Ohio, the state that always determined the winner of every presidential election and the state that will make Marco Rubio the next President of the United States of America.

I'm glad to be here to talk about the basic differences between Marco Rubio and Hillary Clinton when it comes to understanding the economy and how to create jobs. While campaigning for her party during the 2014 mid-term campaign, Hillary Clinton attacked success by claiming that businesses don't create jobs. Let me remind you, Secretary, that we are a nation that celebrate success and embrace free market. Business create jobs, not the government. These words we heard from Hillary Clinton, mean a very bad understanding about how to create jobs. It's no wonder that Hillary Clinton is running for Barack Obama's third term, which would be a very a bad path to follow for America. Under a Clinton Administration, taxes and regulations will get higher, our consumers' purchasing power will diminish, American businesses will offshore overseas, America's dependence on foreign oil, which will not only kill American jobs but also provide funding for terrorists and help them to commit further attacks. The budget will remain unbalanced, the deficit will hit 20 trillion $. America will be less competitive in the world economy, which will make American products more expansive through higher tariffs and make less international consumers for America.

As if that wasn't bad enough, Hillary Clinton flip-flopped many times on economic issues. She was once a supporter of free trade before she changed her mind on the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a perfect deal that is making us competitive in a dynamic zone like Asia-Pacific and help our country to counterbalance China's trade power to create jobs through lower costs for American products and to bring innovation all the more so since 95 percent of the world’s consumers live outside our borders. And to create jobs, our workers and our farmers need to sell more of what we make to those people. While she once backed the Keystone XL pipeline before, Hillary Clinton changed her position and is now opposing it.

Energy independence is a basic element of prosperity because it will allow America to take advantage of all of its sources of energies (oil, gas, coal, ethanol, nuclear, solar, etc.) and boost America's automobile manufacturing while keeping funds from falling between the hands of terrorists. By opening more markets and look for new ones, we will increase our ability to innovate and compete in this world economy. Goods and services crossing borders ensure the development of new ideas and models and allow our producers to learn about the market through the failure and success of traded products. By learning more, they will be favored to innovate and keep their competitiveness. I know this as a former U.S. Trade Representative and as a former Director of the Office of Management and Budget and Marco Rubio knows it as a member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship and of the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation.

Marco Rubio has a great knowledge and record in terms of job creation : in the U.S. Senate, he cosponsored the AGREE Act alongside Democratic Senator Chris Coons. This bill increased tax credits and exemptions for companies investing in R & D, equipment and other capital, gave tax credits for veterans opening a business franchise and raised immigration for some types of work visas, which helped our country to boost economic growth, job creation and innovation. He co-sponsored the Regulation Costs to Small Businesses Act which would have required the Small Business Administration to conduct an annual study to estimate the total cost of regulations on small businesses. Every chance he got, he voted in favor of the passage of the Keystone XL pipeline for the sake of energy independence. He voted in favor of the Trans-Pacific Partnership to make our country economically competitive around the world.

Marco Rubio will lower taxes so our consumers will reinforce their purchasing power and get out of poverty and our economy can grow. He'll reduce government to strengthen our dollar. He'll expand free trade so we can be more competitive. And he will lead us to energy independence so we can be free of foreign oil.

Senator Rubio selected one of the best partners a nominee could have ever found : Nikki Haley, a woman who ran businesses, created jobs before becoming Governor of South Carolina. She lowered the cost of doing business in her state, reduced corporate income tax rate to 5 %, abolished state property tax, local income tax, inventory tax, sales tax on manufacturing equipment, wholesale tax and unitary tax on worldwide profits, which helped my state to have industrial power or materials for finished products and boosted job creation and innovation. She reduced the local unemployment rate by 7 percentage points.

So now even though we are witnessing one of the slowest economic growths in decades and a rise of the national unemployment form 4,9 % to 5,1 % from the last month to now, our people can rise again and we can restore the American Dream.

When I was a kid, my father started his own business selling forklift trucks. He had to borrow money from my mother's uncle because the bank wouldn’t give him a loan. He lost money for the first few years, but he never lost his dream. And by the time he retired and my brother took over, the business had 200 employees – supporting 200 families in Southwest Ohio.

To renew America's promise, we need to make America the best place in the world to open, grow and expand a business so we can ensure permanent job creation and prosperity. Marco Rubio and Nikki Haley will follow that path and that's how they will establish a New American Prosperity for all.
