We the undersigned Atlasians strongly urge Congress to resist and oppose any effort to abolish the Estate Tax and push for raising the tax in the future.

All are welcome to sign this petition; bourgeoise parasites are encouraged to leave dull and disparaging comments below!

It is deeply irresponsible to give a tax break to the wealthy at a time when we have very large deficit. It is likely this cost will be offset by cutting vital spending or tax increases.

Hi, coming from a high tax state, I can tell you this isn't thie best move. It's not just millionaires, who own million dollar properties, many of them are middle class and upper middle class people.

Don't you define "middle class" as someone who earns up to $122,000 a year?

I’m not a Federalist anymore, so what does Labor gain from attacking me.

SNJC is right though. In a state like New Jersey or say California that is middle class. Also I believe that figure was for household income.

It's true that cost of living varies enormously from place to place within Atlasia and in New York City $122,000 would definitely constitute middle class.
Regardless, the estate tax is a targeted tax of great importance and it should not be repealed. And it absolutely should be strengthened in some form if the alternative is increasing the regressive sales tax or other forms of taxation that eat into the livelihoods of the downtrodden.
