Hopefully Miller is able to at least prolong the process like Coleman did to keep the evil bitch out of the Senate for as long as possible.

Actually, the only ones who benefit from Miller's bickerings are democrats. Murkowski wasn't a teabagger, but at least she was a mainstream republican. If Miller manages to prevents her from being seated for as much time as Coleman managed with Franken, the democrats' share of the Senate seats will be 53.5% instead of 53%. That won't change much things, but it can only help.
