Bill Maher is so far to the left, he is about as useful as Rush Limbaugh.

Are you talking about the same Bill Maher who attacked Occupy?

He's about as far left as the establishment media goes, but of course that doesn't make him far left.

Now I can say Biden has won the debate. Republicans are so far behind the status quo in the social aspect of the country..

Biden's stomping Ryan in the "lines" on CNN in regards to abortion.

Should be the other way around.

I always find it kind of weird when "arrogance" is an insult levied against Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates.  They believe they deserve to run the most powerful state on earth.  No **** they're arrogant.

This is what a well-moderated debate looks like.

Just ask the last Republican VP nominee how well that's worked for her family.

I am glad that my mind isn't wired like some of you lighthearted magic centrists that seem to value tone over policy accuracy. "Oh gosh golly, Joe isn't being nice to little Paul Ryan! What a meanie!"

Fun fact: it's not that he's being aggressive. That's nothing new. It's more that it's astounding that this country could ever elect a ticket with such an arrogant old f[Inks]ing bastard on it.

Have they ever had anybody not arrogant on a major party ticket, since, say, George Washington?

This debate is a draw.  A draw is a Romney win.  Biden needed to more than make up for Obama's performance and he did in content, but in attitude, he was dismal.  Ryan started off well in content, but leveled off in the last half of the debate, but was decent in attitude.

If you think Joe Biden's being mean and rude, at least he hasn't told an old guy that he's gonna fire him on national TV.

This is what a well-moderated debate looks like.

There's a lot of interruptions between the candidates, but I don't generally mind that.

Overall, Biden won this one.

I am guessing that for the next few days everyone is going to be talking about Joe Biden. Dems will be praising him and Republicans will be attacking him.

Haha, this wasn't close to a draw.  You should and must have an attitude when your opponent lies and won't take stands.

Assuming by "starting well" you mean his first foreign policy comments, what was exactly there that deserves this characterization?

The polls won't change much before next Tuesday.  This debate wasn't strong enough by either candidate to sway the polls.  We'll have to wait for Debate 2 next Tuesday.

Biden ruined Ryan so hard it's not even funny. LOL at the Republicans thinking it's a "Draw".

This debate was kind fun. Biden's kind of kicked ass and kept it personal. Ryan has come off weak and boring. Kind of a mirror universe from the debate last week.
