It would be a waste to create a thread just for the draw then for qualifying later this year so that's why I stressed the need for limited discussion here. It only took up about a page so that's fine.

France vs. Switzerland
Bosnia vs. Iran
Winner of H vs. Runner-up G (likely Belgium vs. Portugal, Russia vs. Portugal, Belgium vs. USA or USA vs. Russia)
Winner 51 vs. Winner 52 (Spain vs. Italy Round 2)

This could be a lot like '94: sneak past an African side, beat Spain in the Quarter finals and meeting Brazil at some point later.

The Azzurri officially unveiled the World Cup kit today. I'm a fan. It will get its match debut this Wednesday against Spain.

Ukraine vs. U.S. should be interesting for everything-but-Soccer reasons.

It was actually announced that the match is cancelled earlier this evening. Sad

International friendlies in March are always horrible. No one wants to get injured for the run-in.

Some facts about the Austria vs. Uruguay game tonight:

This is only the 3rd time so far that the two countries have played against each other: In 1954, Austria beat Uruguay 3-0, while in 1964 Uruguay beat Austria 2-0.

The game will be played in Klagenfurt at the Wörthersee-Arena (has 32.000 seats, but so far only about 18.000 tickets have been sold).

Cavani will miss the game for Uruguay, because of an injury.

My prediction: 2-1 Uruguay (under normal circumstances, the Urus are probably a class better)

Rodriguez brutally kicks the Austrian keeper in the stomach ...

The German referee only picks the yellow card ...

These new German away uniforms are so ugly. Sad

Great Götze goal (and Özil assist) though.
