Yes, just read that. Torres has obviously been s**t for a while now, but he obviously has history with Atletico and could at least be a competent sub for Mandzukic, if only to keep up a nominal offense for the last 20 minutes or so of a game. Simeone somehow milking something more out of Torres would be great though, if admittedly rather unlikely.

Oh wow. About to be some massive dropped points for City at home while Arsenal are set to claim their title spot (4th). New Year's Day should be great!

nah, Southampton is still in fourth on goal difference I think?

But yes, we are coming closer and closer to our rightful place in the table.

He's clearly about to leave Liverpool, at the very least.

He wasn't even listed as a sub today so, yeah.

pls come to NYCFC to replace fat frank

Obviously MLS is kind of silly but I was excited to see Lampard play like twenty minutes from my apartment. Gerrard is much better though, so I'd take him instead thanks.

Just:

...woohoo!

And Red Star, maybe the most historical French club, only decent Parisian, created by Jules Rimet, who created the World Cup (which global sport events would you have without us? British invented sports, we made it universal...) is currently making it from National to L2!

Real Madrid lost at Valencia but the big news is Barcelona lost to David Moyes' 16th placed Real Sociedad because of a 2nd minute own goal!

A fine day indeed on both accounts. A back-to-back La Liga victory is still in the cards.

Juventus only up a point in the league table after failing to beat Inter! Roma very much closing in. I'm very pleasantly surprised. This might actually be an interesting race.

I've been saying it for awhile: Roma are the favorites for the title.

Massive weekend coming up as the top four square off: Roma vs. Lazio in the Rome Derby then Napoli vs. Juve. It's going to be an awesome Sunday.
