I wrote this one a while ago so it may need some review to ensure functionality. Might want to consider naming it something more kickass and less lame.

Basically, it is the realization of what's his face's idea about committees from a few months ago. We can experiment and see if we can't make something out of it.

I think we should hold up on creating numerous spinoffs until we see how this one goes. If this works we can then spinoff various reponsibilities to other committees.

The amendment has passed.

The reason I put the President of the Senate in there was I had grand ideas of finding something else to bother the Vice President with. Evil

Maybe, but first I have a question to ask.

Who is interested in serving on the committee? I am willing to serve as a member, but I don't really desire to be chairman, especially if I am PPT again, which is a decision that is yet to be made.

I'd love to serve, and will be Chairman (reluctantly) if needed.

Don't worry, I'll be there to "help" (read harrass) you every step of the way. Tongue

Yes but then there is the committee you are creating on national security. I don't think we should have one Senator in charge of both.

We will have to allow people to serve on more then one committee because otherwise we will run into activity problems.

I also think we should make them as a similar functionally as possible.

Crude but it will have to do. Tongue

Anyway, my concern now is functionality of these committees. I think the similar they are in structure the better. Three different sets of formulations will lead to unnecessary confusion and time being waisted.
