Hillary plays much better in New Hampshire than Iowa (see 2008 primaries). So Iowa.

Tough call, there both about the same PVI wise, but republicans have been actually able to win elections in Iowa recently (besides 2010 for NH), so I'll say Iowa.

Iowa (If Hillary runs, Christie could snag NH tho).

Cautiously went with Iowa, but Christie could have big appeal up in NH.

Hillary vs. Any Republican, Iowa.

Non-Hillary Democrat vs. Any Republican but Christie, Iowa.

Non-Hillary Democrat vs. Christie, New Hampshire...maybe... kind of depends who the Democrat is.

So yeah, Iowa.

I would say Iowa, but it all depends on the candidate. Scott Walker and Paul Ryan would probably perform better in Iowa than NH, while Christie would probably over perform in Nh.

Interesting question. These two states were very close (less than a fifth of a point) to one another in 2008 and 2012.

I'd imagine both states will go to the winner of the General Election.

I'll guess New Hampshire has a slightly better chance of going Republican, partly because there's a non-trivial chance a Republican from the state will be on a national ticket.
