Oakland.

People saying OC must be on crack.
Sure, go ahead. I'll be living a few dozen miles south. Just don't get shot d=

Anyone who says Orange County is a HP. OC portrayal or not, it's still a horrible place.

What are you talking about?

I don't see why it's such an attractive place to live.  It's expensive, sprawly, and smoggy.  It may have its nice places, but for the price, I'd rather live in a more vibrant place.

I see what you mean. I guess I don't realize the price of my area, given that I've lived here all my life.

Lol that is a good catch. I, of course, meant in the poll not geographically since I live there Tongue

I was wondering why someone from Cali would ask where (geographically) SD was. It's not on the list of choices.

Out of those choices, San Joaquin Valley.

I grew up in the northern Sacramento Valley, and would chose either that or the North Coast (Fort Bragg / Eureka) if I moved back to Cali.

If I had to live in California I would want to live in the Bay Area, but I personally have no desire to ever live in that state.

I live in west Los Angeles now and it is very nice.  In about twoo weeks I will live in Orange County, and it too is very nice.  I grew up in San Diego County, also very nice.

I think some folks here are a bit jealous.

Southern California has its charms:  the beaches, generally pleasant weather, the "la la la la I bleached my brain" attitude...

But a combination of the traffic, pollution, and weather would drive me insane over the long term.

The only two places I would live in California are:  The mountains or along or in close proximity to the northern cost, north of San Francisco.
