You do realize that voting for one murderous asshole dictator over another one is not an endorsement of him of his views in any way, shape, or form, right?

You have to take into account the number of southerners who were actually trying to type in hay porn.

If only we could go back to the days when Iraq was more fiscally than socially conservative (ie, when Saddam was in power).

Failed attempt at humour

Saddam was very socially conservative, he allowed bestiality for instasnce.

The Dems are getting their own Tea Party on.
A website maintained by two guys who say we should target a handful of blue dogs in Safe D districts isn't exactly comparable to the tea party

No.  I believe the right to vote includes the right to not vote if people so choose.  As much as I believe in the importance of voting (and believe me, I do), I don't think people should have to do it if they don't want to.

Aye (D). Saying that this does not violate privacy because it's done in a public place is missing the point. A woman does not expect her undergarments to be seen in ordinary circumstances, so placing a camera in a particular spot does violate her privacy.

having a specific law is probably an invitation to frivolous lawsuits.

How so? Do you mean that someone takes a picture without ill intent, and it happens to show underwear/buttcrack/cleavage/etc., and that person sues?

3 at best (Neoconfederate melts down in MS, Nunn wins, Landrieu holds on) or 0 at worst. If miracles did happen, it could be 4 (if we got a white to run against Uncle Tom Tim Scott).

You're either being an idiot/racist or a troll.  Scott would have no problem winning against any white Democrat.  You're deluded if you think that conservative whites are going to go for a democrat just because he/she is white.  You grossly misunderstand the situation.  If race is the reason 2010 was sort of close for Haley, ten why does she have over 70% approval with Republicans.

Insults: a great way to make an argument, bro. I guess I shouldn't have expected better from a SC Republican.

If you're going to be casually racist, expect to be called out for it

There has not been one person who has explained how my comments were/are racist.
Calling a Black Man an Uncle Tom is very racist.  Anyone who has half a brain would know that.

We'll just have to disagree then. I view it as a technical term.
How in the Hell is that a technical term.  In my book, you are a racist son of a bitch or very stupid.

Obama is an FF and Nixon is more liberal than Obama, so FF. His only real problems were Watergate and sabotaging the Halloween Peace, but other things make up for those.
Those are some pretty massive problems

All state Senates should be abolished and most State houses should be massively expanded to NH levels at least.

There's a LDS church next to my house in Central London where I sometimes go for music practice and there's always hot LDS missionary girls there. Are you telling me they don't have mobile phones or facebook?

I don't understand why Chuck Schumer isn't flagged up for removal, but Angus King is. That alone makes me highly suspicious of the rankings used.
You guys want to get rid of Schumer? I don't see why.
Summer voted for the Iraq war, voted for the PATRIOT Act, supported Iran sanctions, supported U.S. intervention in Syria, supported NSA spying, and supported SOPA. He's probably one of my top five senators to primary.

Now getting to my main issue: If we are random piles of atoms brought together for a tiny amount of time in some unimportant corner of the universe as the atheists assert, where does morality come from? Why isn't this all meaningless?

Because we are humans, that is the single greatest entity in the known universe. We have always successfully striven to rise about our biologic determinants and build a world according to our own principles. We created the concept of morality, through our own personal and collective reflection.
