It's hard to explain why I don't like Fox. It's a bit too aggressive, I suppose, if that makes sense.

I just find CNN sort of uninteresting, but when I watch Fox, I always get the feeling of being overwhelmed with unnecessary sensory input.

I always watch MSNBC at night. It's better than warm milk.

You had me up until you mentioned you like MSNBC.

I think you misunderstood what I said. I don't like MSNBC. I was implying it puts me to sleep.

The only thing I like is Special Report and that business guy. All the rest is just political hackery.

I like Special Report too.  This may be a stupid question, but what party does Brit Hume belong to?  I can never get a feel for the guy.  He never really takes sides.

Also, Fox has the best looking women on cable news.

incorrect.

soledad o'brien is the best looking woman on cable news and she works for cnn!

That's one barely decent looking woman.  Go on Fox's website and check out the bios.

I was wondering, since some of the most vocal liberals are always attacking it, what is your opinion of Fox News?  I personally prefer it over all others.

I'm technically a registered republican in california, and generally vote absentee in CA.  And I thoroughly enjoy watching FNC.  So I voted option 1.

As a practical matter, I'm currently a non-partisan, non-voting resident of MS, and I loathe the sensationalism and inaccuracy of FNC.

Both statements are true.  But on balance, my love/hate relationship with FNC draws me toward their programs.  I enjoy the fact that you get editorial/opinion all mixed in with the news, all in one place so you don't even have to turn the page.  Additionally, like most viewers, I am willing to sacrifice a little accuracy for entertainment value.

Also, Dari Alexander gives me a woody.

I don’t have cable and I don’t really care if I ever do, so I can’t make an informed opinion on Fox News.  Based on what I’ve heard, that means that I’m well qualified to host a talk show on any of the cable news networks! Grin

I've never seen much of anything from Fox News, so I can't really say.
