Yes just corrected it. Was a bit confusing (with the special election and quite the early declaration). But now corrected. Smiley

I also added Ishan but i think it quite shows why we need such a thread, because it is very confusing to post find posts made three months ago for a particular election and than decode for which election he later dropped out (context made it clear it was the senate race he dropped out). It can get very confusing, so that's why I think an overview thread can be useful.

probably to better differentiate with Hoxhaists, though they're usually shown as crimson.

Well that’s plain unacceptable.

What do you propose instead for colouring?

Only two people have run for Southern Chamber?

What happens if not enough people run to have it working?

The problem is that it isn't seen as competitive enough. Only Lincoln is seen as remotely competitive, but even their senate or governor races are usually likely Labor (bordering safe).

Of course southern chamber, Labor could arguably get some people in, and they're probably waiting until the latest moment, but I indeed think there is a lack of enthusiasm because let's be honest, Atlasia is very inelastic, there's not much movement and the regions itself aren't that competitive, and so are the nationwide races. (which are Likely Labor / likely Labor-affiliated too).

Like i had to move from Fremont to Lincoln, because let's be honest, what could I even do in Fremont? Usually one candidate (the incumbent or someone the party names as him or her successor) runs and people vote, the few non-Labor guys left just write-in someone (Lumine or ASV) and that's been the case for multiple years. It's just not really exciting.

We in Frémont have advanced beyond history and class and party struggle, and are able to enjoy the blessings of democracy without the curse of factionalism and intrigue. Those possessed by the ungodly love of Ambition will indeed find little satisfaction here, until they can give up their worldly cares and rejoice in the brotherhood of mankind.

I think you feel this way FWIW because you’ve burnt more bridges with the power players in Fremont compared to any other region, which in part would explain the write ins.

Also, you alienated a ton of the voters, which led to some of them not preffing you and you lost by 0.071 votes.

Well, i honestly never knew i was that close to being elected for Fremont parliament, but part of it was the very low turn-out. I never even campaigned for FT parliament. I thought I had literally 1 vote and that like 80 people voted.

Apparently what's hard is for people not to argue in a resource thread.

Hey, I am not the one who decided to take a factual inquiry as an opportunity to editorialize on why I fear commitment! I am sure Yankee has a story about how resource threads used to have thirty pages of arguments back in 2009.

Everyone should have been added by now, except for Scott (which i'm unsure what to do with), but as I believe he'll automatically be valid when he autoregistered just in time, i'll add him in a few days (when we're at that point).

There have been some changes since the last edit.

For Laki's reference, these were the changes: I dropped out of Council, Leinad entered, oakvale entered the Senate race (my old reply misread the date, so I deleted it)
