The Ottoman Empire is firmly continuing to recognize the legitimate government of China and shares our Japanese friends' concerns about the threat poised by the communist rebels.

Needles to say, no trade with these delinquents will be permitted. At the same time, we're willing to increase our trade with the legitimate authorities.

1. The Ottoman Empire is firmly resolved to keep its policy of armed neutrality in European affairs, trading with all sides in peace.

2. The Ottoman Empire will work together with Greece and Bulgaria to make sure the peace agreement we've signed remains a core of stability in the region.

3. The Ottoman Empire has extensive economic interests in Asia in general and China in particular. We're looking forward to the legitimate government restoring peace and order there.

4. The Ottoman Empire views its recent agreement with the British Empire as an important signal to all the world no third party meddling in the Middle Eastern affairs will be accepted. For all previous difficulties, both Empires had long enjoyed peaceful relations, with the sack of Mecca and occupation of Palestine long avenged years ago.

5. The Ottoman Empire restates its interest in forging economic and diplomatic ties with rising powers of the Americas, Brazil and Mexico.
