I have some concerns, but overall I think the benefits clearly outweigh any risks.  This bill has my support.

Perhaps a more palatable idea on reflection may be to allow for temporary "registration stimulus", where new members are assigned to regions lacking in activity for a period.

I would strongly oppose this, it would essentially punish citizens for being new.

You consider it "punishment" to be assigned to one of five regions as opposed to... another one of five regions?

I consider only taking the freedom to chose where to register away from new players to be penalizing them for being new.  Everyone should have the choice or no one should.

Upon further reflection, I don't think random registration is a such a great idea and will be voting against this bill.
