What we need is a 'GM reset'. There's been a lot of stuff our GMs/SoEAs/SoIAs have done that's great, but it wasn't recorded anywhere on the Wiki as having happened - I know there's been significant changes in Cuba and some sort of uprising in Venezuela (might've been Colombia) but since it happened a couple years ago nobody remembers it and it's not part of our game's consciousness. The game has also developed leftist majorities on so many issues that some things are overlegislated - current military spending is less than half of what it is IRL. To be spending at those levels you would need to have legislation specifying what programs have been cut, but we haven't done that, since every left-wing majority always wants to cut the military and it doesn't seem like much compared to last time, but the policy's been repeated over years.
