I'd rather Pritzker be the nominee it will free up a lot of resources for the DGA to spend elsewhere. Money thrown towards IL against Rauner is money not spent in KS, WI, OH, MI etc.

Illinois NEEDS a graduated income tax, flat tax supporters should look at IL and understand the limitations of it. Next Governor needs make it a priority for a progressive tax and fix the pension mess.

If the Kennedy name is so powerful in a Dem primary in Illinois then maybe Joe Kennedy III 2020 should be talked about.

Rauner's people are dumb they could've sat on all of this and let it all out in the general against Pritzker. At least primary voters have a chance to avoid a disaster.

I blame Kennedy he should've dropped out months ago, his campaign was a joke. Pritzker would've lost in a proper 1v1 race.

Looks like Kennedy won one county (Hardin County) which is downstate by 14 votes over Pritzker.

I don't even understand why Pritzker is going through all of this to run a state as messed up as IL, I don't get Rauner's reason either. What about IL fascinates these rich guys so much.
