It appears that 3,1 million votes have already been cast.
68% of them are from voters 55 and older.

Not really relevant but until we get an appropriate thread...

According to reports Hillary Clinton will campaign in Ohio and Pennsylvania next week.

P.S. Here is the press release.

That Jeff Lord guy is a major douchebag.
No wonder he is one of TRUMP's most prolific surrogates.

Why is South Dakota so split geographically?

Farm land vs. Ranch land.

I told you that all this talk about young Latinos being pro-Sanders was complete BS.
She won them big in Arizona and Nevada, so why would they abandon her in California?

P.S. Another gold standard (Field) bites the dust.

It's absolutely asinine that Sanders's campaign stuff wasted no time to throw him under the bus but jfern continues to peddle his conspiratorial BS as if nothing happened.
He kinda of reminds me of a dog who refuses to abandon the dead body of his master.

Yeah, Sanders is probably going to drop out sometime in the next two weeks.

I'm happy that there are some Clinton supporters here that can see that there was a shift in tone and even the message.

There was no shift in tone. The reporters who cover him say that he does it many times, not attacking Clinton in one speech and then a few hours later hitting her hard in the next one.
It's one more sign of his erratic campaign and character.

I'm sure the dead-enders Sandernistas will blame AP for their loss in California. Never mind the detail that Clinton's lead was entirely built with early vote-by-mail and absentees.

Why uncommitted got almost 11% yesterday at North Dakota?
I mean, how much of a deadbeat you must be to go to a caucus, AFTER the nomination has been decided, and vote for uncommitted?

And it's amazing that Clinton broke 16 million votes in a much less competitive primary than the 18 million she got versus Obama in 2008. Can people now recognize that she has enthusiastic supporters and a pretty large following?

I just read a piece about Clinton supporters in California where the reporter said that she had a hard time getting many of them to talk on camera. When she asked why they said to her that they were afraid of being victims of harassment and online bullying by Bernie Bros (and Trumpsters to a lesser degree).

They should've found me to talk to when I went to her rallies. I would've talked about her on camera, no problem.

Yeah but you were a man. Wink

So also looks like Sanders won San Pedro and South Long Beach, as well as Long Beach in general...

Explanations???

Long Beach makes sense. It's got a hipster vibe to it without being too expensive. More like Hollywood than Santa Monica. San Pedro is full of working class dockworkers. Primarily a Latino neighborhood but also with whites and blacks. They live right at the foot of the Palos Verdes peninsula where they get to look upon the multi million dollar homes of the rich. I guess Bernie's message of income inequality played well there.

That's very poetic. Cheesy

It seems that late votes are favorable to Hillary. I thought the opposite was supposed to happen.

@daveweigel

Latest count of new ballots in CA: 42,445 for Clinton, 30,664 for Sanders.

Nah, it makes sense. In terms of favorable to Hillary, it should be early mail-in votes -> late mail-in votes -> election day votes -> provisional ballots.

I remember the talk about how late mail votes favored Sanders in Washington and Oregon and were expected to do the same in California.

You mean besides the obvious like Burlington VT? It actually has a higher black percentage than Hillary's hometown.

Burlington has more blacks than Chicago?

Per the SOS, 2 counties are completely done.

Glenn County: 51.5-46.8 Sanders
Lassen County: 53.7-42.6 Sanders

Lassen hasn't finished.
Besides Glenn the other counties who are finished are Calaveras, Colusa, Inyo, Mariposa, Sierra and Tehama.
