If they boo at a child, then that's really bad optics.

It's not just bad optics.

I hope i don't jinx it but today has really turned around. We owe the Sanders campaign, along with the great speakers, a great deal. Lets hope the rest of the night and the coming week continues to keep the pace.

If this goes on controlled, Sanders deserves high praise.

Completely agreed.

Why is it so hard for people to just get coached to speak a speech as if they're using a comfortable normal cadence. So many of these speeches would be so much better if they just did that.

I think the venue seems to trigger people to shout...

Yeah, speakers, just keep throwing salt at the Berners, that'll definitely bring unity.

After their childishness today, they deserve it.

Booker was on point, best part of the trainwreck. I think he survives unscathed.

Lol, you've gone off the deep-end again.

It feels like Sanders' party, not Clinton.

Well it kind of is... it's his public consolation prize.

He's taking it to the roll call? I thought he was going to drop out on the floor and do an acclamation thing?

He still probably will be.

Word is full roll call vote, than he's going down to the floor for acclamation like Clinton did.

Gotcha.

I am ashamed of the 43% of the democratic party that literally voted for a movement that is the beginning of America becoming China or Russia.

I don't think you understand Sweden, Germany, France, the UK, or even Canada.

Going by our dear friend's commentary on a lot of issues, I think that statement needs to be more generalised.

Indeed it can be. Protectionism transformed America from a harmless colonial backwater into an economic and military titan that surpassed the great powers of Europe.

When we were a developing economy, it was helpful.  Economists realize we're not, and it's not.

Indeed, America could be a self-sustaining economy. It can't be now. The reality about that is costs will have to rise, or wages will have to drop.

This is even harder to watch than the RNC.  Fear is easier to ignore than these sappy sad stereotypes.

Then dont watch.

Well, he got his jollies off the fear and testosterone from last week and finds the positivity of the DNC irritating. There is nothing surprising here.

I hate to say it, but this might just be Bubba's last address to a national convention.

If she wins, he comes back in 2020.

I intended that he looks like he's in poor health.  I don't know if he'll make it to then.

He's just the type who looks that way as they age. He's got an extremely low-fat diet...

Bill's 2012 speech was much higher-energy.

Lol, it's a different setting, he's got a different role.

Bill's speech was great, but I was expecting him to be a lot tougher on Trump. I guess they're giving the responsibility for taking the sledgehammer to his face to Obama and Biden.

Bill's speech was as a husband and father.

No one, no one, supporting Trump has the right to call anyone a sleaze.
