I haven't mentioned this before, but about a week or so ago, I went to a Deputy Leader Hustings in London (got an invite from a friend).

There I met Gordon Brown (and shook his hand) and got pictures with five of the Deputy Leader candidates (Harman left quickly).

I've actually met Tony Blair twice - once in 1994 when he'd just become leader, and then in about 1999 / 2000 at some kind of party shindig in Manchester Town Hall. The first time I just shook his hand, the second time I got to speak to him very briefly - he seemed keen to move on to the next person when he realised I was a member of a Liverpool constituency (such was the reputation of the Labour party in Liverpool at the time, I didn't blame him!)
