it is the moderators responsibility to maintain the peace of the forum.  several moderators are aware of the situation, including INKS, yet have not taken action.  but, I have a healthy sense of humor and for the time being am simply taking it as a short term joke, but you never know which side of my inflatable mattress I will wake up on tomorrow.

really?  you can 100% guarantee your behavior?  you have no death points?

I'm simply saying that I am human and subject to failure, I do not make promises to God because I might not make good on them.  Therefore, it is unwise to ride someone's tolerance for an extended period of time.  At some point in time, the joke may no longer be funny to the other person.

as it is, I am still running with shields down and my phasors are not locked on any target.  but the fact that I do have shields and do have phasors means that it is prudent to treat me with respect, because, as a human, I may not always have control over all my subsystems.

Unfortunately there's not much we can do other than strongly urge that he stop doing it.  As I've said before, I hate it when morons do this, but it's not on my board, so I can't do anything.  Feel free to report any of his impersonations, but with Lunar's business at the moment, it probably won't do much short-term good.

Generally, the Blubb's impersonations are pretty funny, but the jmfcst has a point...Blubb confused (arguably intentionally) Jmfcst's serious argument with Inks to the point where Inks didn't discern who he was arguing with and it seemed like Blubb's usually amusing jesting was getting confused for Jmf's actual views.  I think that's a step too far, however well done.

true, this thread does seem to place too much importance on having a clear flow of thoughts, after all, this is just an internet forum...and I did think his impersonation was funny, and I hold no grudge against Blubb.  but you yourself are probably taking this thread too seriously, for I would have to cross MANY LINES to stoop to painting a mental picture of Rachel Maddow involved in any sex acts with anyone, much less express those images in words.  

I just wanted Blubb to know that there are ways for posters to up the ante into nonhumorous humor in order to secure their unquestioned identity.
