Perhaps a trial run on the mainland would suffice for now. I'm thinking, maybe a hearty chunk of Columbia County, New York.

As long as its just the town of Greenport.

No Greenport. I mean it is really off to a good start. It has no zoning, and thus looks like this (snaps taken by my partner Dan in the shotgun seat at my request as part of my archive on Greenport):



But to seal the deal, I submit this as Exhibit C.  Folks there already know how to take care of business in a way that would fit in well with this new state's ethos.
