Moore is a pedophile and most Republicans hate him for costing them a seat. Blankenship isn't very charismatic, to say the least, and is essentially a bloody-handed killer. Arpaio is a criminal who lost his district by a landslide. Akin was a U.S. Rep. and other than a very controversial comment doesn't seem like an outright criminal. So he wins by default, I guess.

I mean on a personal level I feel sorry for Todd Akin, yes he is a complete idiot, but he was probably just repeating sh$t he heard in his 1950s science class and he got completely tarred by a national media desperate to make it a national story and put those words in Mitt Romney's mouth. In light of things politicians have said and gotten away with, it is completely unfair that it became such a national story and he became such a pariah

I agree with this but I think Akin would win the primary. Akin, as nutty as he is, has much less severe baggage against two criminals and a pedophile. Comparatively, Akin's problem was what he said rather than what he did.
