Was any one else tuned into the Armed Services Committee Benghazi hearing and specifically Chambliss's questioning of Gen Dempsey? What a chickenhawk piece of sh**t...calling the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs (a combat veteran) "inadequate"...

You know who is inadequate??? A douchebag who avoided Vietnam due to a bum knee questioning the patriotism of a Silver Star recipient missing three limbs...I still can't believe the GOP put this son of a bitch on the Armed Services Committee after the way he won that race... good grief- what a disgrace to Georgia, the Republican Party, and the Senate

You will have to give us a bit more background on what was actually said.  Even a broken clock is right twice a day.    I haven't been following the whole Benghazi thing because it's been so politicized.

You should see who is running to fill Chambliss' seat.  Paul Broun a doctor who said embryology is "lies from the pit of hell."  The good doctor sits on the science committee.  So no Republican committee assignments do not surprise me anymore... kind of sad.

I get clarence's point that if you're not in the military don't bad wrap those who are........it just find his point ridiculous.

Indeed. There's a line between legitimate criticism no one should be immune of and being a chickenhawk.

If some one gets elected to Senate by calling a triple amputee who received the Silver Star a coward- that person should remove himself from military affairs... some one who has never served can speak with expertise and authority on military affairs, some one who not only avoided service but impugned the courage and patriotism of an American hero cannot

A few more comments: Susan Collins is really unintelligent.

I was most impressed by Angus King and Mark Udall.

Feinstein will defend Obama's picks no matter what they do or say and Chambliss is bringing up Benghazi again.  I don't think confirmation hearings should be politicized IMO.
