The test doesn't work too well, I find. Or maybe I moderate too much:

Mao: Economic Left/Right: -8.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 5.44 (would be higher, but Mao ain't a fan of religion)

Mussolini: Economic Left/Right: -1.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 8.31

Mugabe: Economic Left/Right: -7.13
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 7.59

Ross Perot: (I'm kind of suspicious - I basically played Perot as a moderate big-business libertarian):
Economic Left/Right: 6.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.38

Just for kicks, my attempt at Ayn Rand:
Economic Left/Right: 10.00 (of course!)
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.77

Karl Marx      Social:+10, Economic:-10  Perfect authoritarian score

I doubt it.

More like arond Eco: -10, Social +1
He would definitly have a authoritarian bent he, like communism in general, cannot be said to have a "right" social bent because of there support for secularism.  In fact true communism under Marx's vision would perhaps be near Opebo territory on social issues.

Ross Perot was against free trade agreements. He ran on his opposition to NAFTA.

McVeigh was a very conservative Catholic.  Obviously he hated the government, but that was because he didn't think they were sufficiently authoritarian, as far as I know.

um, no. He was pissed about increasing federal power, gun control, and the whole Waco thing. The Waco thing is why he did the bombing. He was also an atheist from what I heard but the important thing was that he was basically a libertarian terrorist, pissed about the government being TOO authoritarian.

Oh, really?

It's shameful that I did not know that.

You didn't know the main reason he did the bombing was the Waco incident?

The US government ought to be ashamed of their actions in Waco and Ruby Ridge, disgusting disgrace that was. Plus, McVeigh was probably funded in part by Al-Qaeda anyhow.
