Ending Iraq and not escalating it for vanity sake like he easily could have, and sad to say it...but pretty much any other candidate would've done (okay okay maybe not John Edwards...but c'mon he never really made it).

Ending Afghanistan is a close second, but that one wasn't a completely useless quagmire based on a lie...so...

Everything else can be better attributed to someone else, shouldn' really be considered an accomplishment, or in the case of healthcare was just half-hearted.

A few of my favorites are:

1. Destroying the best healthcare system in the world and lying about it ("If you like your plan, you can keep it")
2. Requiring federal funding of abortions, both in the US and abroad
3. Stifling the recovery by raising taxes on small business
4. Showing utter contempt for Israel
5. Emboldening America's enemies
6. Supporting rioters and rolling back race relations by 50 years
7. Wasting billions of "stimulus" dollars on unnecessary porkbarrel projects
8. Blaming George Bush for everything that goes wrong
9. Taking credit for Bush's accomplishments (Bailouts, capture/killing of Bin Laden, etc.)

  You mean...

1. Pretty much keeping the same idiot healthcare system that screws everyone not making millions and adding some sane provisions so that every centre-leftist will shut up about the half-assed ness of it, when there was supposed to be a public option? (Nordic healthcare is the best healthcare)

2. Not completely screwing over people that can't necessarily get abortions in private?

3. Bringing back income lost from Reaganomic stupidity, even with the unfortunate flipside, and not soaking he big-whigs more?

4. Not bowing down to Israel's every whim when they have SPIED on us, and trying the most since Carter to actually see the other side?

5. Doing more to settle maters down and return to diplomacy as opposed to "You're on the evil axis so screw you" and other foolish Us. vs. hem policies of Dubya?

6. Doing more to support race relations by bringing in a new perspective and NOT defaulting to the "welfare queen" mentality, yet sill more talk than action ala LBJ?

7. Put funding back into things hat could be very useful in the future, rather than cutting and cutting and cutting and then blaming it on the staff ala GOP and FEMA?

8. Not blaming George Bush and Congress more and taking the LBJ/FDR  smash against Reaganomics and Reaganism?

9. Taking credit where credit is due after Bush flailed around and pissed everyone off with the stupidest foreign policy since LBJ?

Surely THAT's what you mean, it has to be.

But going off that, it's still not enough, it's just a slowing down of regression.

Which leads me to the big question for red-avvies such as Lief: Why all the praise? Accomplishments should be reserved for progression,...not for slightly curbing regression!

The Zinger is the correct answer.

I don't ever believe the president is responsible for like half of these.

If you can blame the president for when things go bad, you can attribute good things to the president as well.

Easily the ACA.

This, but I'm not attributing a Heritage Foundation plan to him that he used because he didn't have the guts to go the whole way.
