Can anyone say GORE 2016!?

I think he'd have just about as good a chance as anybody in the prospective Democratic field (which is looking rather weak, BTW).

Republicans
--Christ Christie
--Bob McDonnell
--Paul Ryan
--Marco Rubio
--Mitch Daniels
--John Hoeven
--Herman Cain
--Mike Huckabee
--Michele Bachmann
--John Bolton
--Jon Huntsman (who is just using a 2012 run to build Name Recognition)
--Scott Walker
--Allen West
--Sarah Palin
--Haley Barbour
--Rand Paul
--Brian Sandoval
--Luis Fortuno
--Sam Brownback
--Donald Trump
--John Thune
--Lincoln Chaffee (could run as an R, I guess)
--Lisa Murkowski
--Jeb Bush
--Pat Toomey

Democrats:
--Hillary Clinton
--Joe Biden
--Al Gore
--Mark Warner
--Mike Bennett
--Tim Kaine
--Brian Schweitzer
--Russ Feingold
--Dennis Kucinich
--Howard Dean
--Alan Grayson
--Andrew Cuomo
--Amy Klobaucher
--Debbie Stabenow
--Deval Patrick
--Maria Cantwell
--Kathleen Sibelius
--Chuck Schumer
--Kirsten Gillibrand

I wouldnt say it is weak... The democrats have a litany of qualified candidates who could easily keep the presidency in the left column, especially if the republicans contunue their swing to the FARRRRRRRRR right.
