The ACLU didn't say - like Trump did - that there are "very fine people" among the neo-Nazis.

The ACLU didn't bemoan the fact - like Trump did - that Confederate statues are taken down in the South.

The ACLU hasn't a history - like Trump has - to usually make quick, premature, questionable judgements, but when it is suddenly about right-wing violence in Charlotteville it's all "I wanted to make sure, unlike most politicians, that what I said was correct, not make a quick statement. The statement I made on Saturday, the first statement, was a fine statement but you don’t make statements that direct unless you know the facts. It takes a little while to get the facts."

The ACLU hasn't a history - like Trump has - to often criticize that radical Islamic terrorists aren't called radical Islamic terrrorists, but when it comes to White supremacist violence he suddenly hesitates to call them White supremacists and racists.

And last but not least, the ACLU isn't the friggin President of the United States.
