Did they? There have been so many different lists.

I agree with you that this narrowly passes in the House. Senate is an entirely different animal.

Let's not kid ourselves...Senate will probably cave too.

I'm much less sure about the senate.  Unlike Freedom Caucus hacks, who represent bleached, gerrymandered districts, many Republican senators live in big and/or diverse and/or purple states.  They have to reconcile many different interests, and grapple with angry constituents.  They likely won't succumb to a president with a 40% approval rating just because he asks them to.

It looks like Republicans are beginning to cave.  I think it'll squeak by, perhaps by one or two votes.
I don't know, remember the Freedom Caucus played chicken with the entire US economy. I'm convinced you could get them to drink bleach if you made them think it was Conservative to do so.

I doubt it...virtually all of the tea party governors were re-elected despite the fact they all destroyed their own states

If ACA is repealed...nobody will face consequences

The GOP has realized that they can screw over their constituency and never face any consequences. That's why they're going full speed with this god awful bill

The key difference now is that they aren't able to pin their woes on an incumbent Democratic president.  Democrats are completely powerless now, which makes blaming them harder, and also makes the Democratic base more likely to turn out to the polls than before.

That's a big loss, he's an establishment guy through and through. Means there's opposition to this from right AND left

Give it some time...Trump is making the right calls for bribes, er I mean "campaign contributions" to be handed out
Can you reason with people who'd drink bleach if the Heritage Foundation scored it well?

Paul Ryan seems to leave the door open for a possible vote postponement.

GOP Rep. Thomas Massie (KY-4) updates his vote from "No" to "Hell No". Seems like a solid bet how he will vote.

Also, BIG news here: Donovan is a NO

Sahil Kapur‏ @sahilkapur
Rep. Dan Donovan, Staten Island Republican, says in an op-ed he’ll vote against the House GOP health care bill.
http://www.silive.com/opinion/columns/index.ssf/2017/03/donovan_why_i_will_vote_no_on.html

Dan Donovan had said that calls to his office on the AHCA were 1,000 to 1 against.

Despite some recent defections to the Yes camp, The Hill now counts 25 firm no votes, and 6 lean/likely no votes. The bill is still in the red zone.

For the first time, over 23 Republican Congressmen have publicly come out against the current version of the AHCA. 23 defections are needed for this bill to fail. Still, nothing's final until they actually vote.

Again, what's the point?  Are they hoping they can somehow induce Collins or Heller to support the bill?
