"Attack at Saddam Hussein hearing
30/07/2005

Former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein has been involved in a scuffle during a court hearing in Baghdad.

Saddam Hussein's defence lawyer Khalil Dulaimi announced that he was attacked by an unidentified man and the two exchanged blows during the defence hearing.

"As the president stood to leave the courtroom one of those present attacked him and there was an exchange of blows between the man and the president," a statement by the lawyer read.

The statement alleged that the head of the Iraqi Special Tribunal trying the ex-dictator did nothing to stop the assault. It did not say whether he was hurt in the incident."

Sorry...couldn't resist the headline

LOL, thats pretty funny that no one stopped it. I would like to see that video. I bet Hussein is pretty scrappy. Is it just me or is it odd that the defense is still calling his client "the President"?
