With Tossups Included:

Kerry/ Warner- 336 EVs 46%
McCain/ Rice- 180 EVs 39%
Ventura/ King- 23 15%

Vote splitting between Ventura and McCain enables Kerry to win Montana, Virginia, and Florida.

Vote splitting between Kerry and McCain enables Ventura to win Missouri, Colorado, and Wisconsin.

Other candidates:
Ralph Nader/ Warren Beatty (Green) - 0.4% of the vote.
Michael Badnarik/ Lance Brown (Lib.)- 0.6% of the vote.
Roy Moore/ Alan Keyes (Cons.)- 0.9% of the vote (8% in Alabama).
Others (Socialist, Prohibition, etc.)- under 0.1% of the vote.

Although no candidate recieves a popular majority, Kerry win the electoral college with narrow wins in Ohio, Montana, Virginia, New Mexico, and Iowa.

Ventura announces that he will run in 2012.

McCain resigns from senate seat, "retires" (......) from politics.

This is:
Bill Richardson/ Rick Perry
Rick Santorum/ Dick Cheney

Rick Perry, after defecting to the Democratic Party to avoid a primary fight with Senator Kay Baily Hutchinson, has become a Democratic star. He easily won re-election, and delivers Texas to the Democrats. Bill Richardson, who also wins re-election, runs for president and wins the Democratic primary.

Rick Santorum, to please the lobbyists who gave money to his campaign, convinces Dick Cheney to stay as Vice President. He leads in the polls, but he makes a gaffe Reagan-style. Thinking the microphone is off, he says of the GLBT protesters who are interupting him "Damn gays!! When I become presidents, I'll kill them all!!". The audience was shocked, and so was America. He drops to last place in every state, but makes a last-minute comeback, winning a few states:

I'm not going to offer any "fantasy" predictions but one thing that should be factored into all these projections is that Rick Santorum is likely to get a well deserved hiding in the 2006 mid-term elections and sent packing from Capitol Hill.

That will kill stone dead any hopes he or his merry band of far right followers have of him appearing on the national GOP ticket in 2008.

By '08 he will be a political has-been with his unsavoury stint as a Seantor nothing more than a bad memory for moderate and liberal politicos.

All the polls show him trailing likely Democratic challenger Bob Casey. The latest one I have seen shows Casey opening up a 15 point lead against the bigoted junior senator from Pennsylvania.

His extremist views would be out of kilter even in a number of GOP states such as Nevada, Arizona etc. let alone Democratic trending Pennsylvania!

Anyways I look forward to him being finally turfed out and brought to book for his obnoxious pronouncements on a whole raft of social issues, particularly on LGBT rights.

I expect the same thing to happen to the equally bigoted but more opportunistic Mitt Romney in the Governors race in Massachusetts, providing of course he has the guts to face the voters of the state he ridiculed and insulted recently while pandering to the homophobic base of his national party.

Like his ideological soul-mate Santorum, this should bring his White House ambitions also to a crashing halt.

Santorum and Romneys defeats and a big re-election win for Hillary in NY will be the '06 highlights for me!

Roll on the elections....

Good for Senator Santorum, the mainstream compassionate conservative, steering a balanced,  moderate course, one that is fair to all Americans.

He is working to keep America from degenerating into a cesspool of immorality, debauchery and decadence.

America does not have to cow tow to the radical gay agenda, just because the raving looney left wingnuts say so.
Are you on drugs?!?!
