Yes. Huntsman was right about fearing the GOP would be the party of anti-science.

The main problem with the GOP right now is that they are on the wrong side of history. In an increasingly globalized world with ever increasing educational levels, you can't expect to win elections by denying science and demonizing everyone who isn't a typical "old-fashioned" white american. Well, maybe you can win SOME elections using that approach but its gonna bite you in the ass in the end. With each year passing its gonna be harder and harder to win with that approach.
