Talking of the Wikileaks link. Apparently now Wikileaks = Russia in the minds of Democrat operatives.

Wikileaks is effectively an arm of Russian intelligence, so they are absolutely correct

I think this is a great line of attack to be honest, helps both to discredit the leaks and to build patriotic sympathy for the Clinton campaign.

right now this is mostly below the radar stuff, although I think Trump's campaign manager had to say something about this.

But could the message of how Trump is the favored candidate of Putin/The Kremlin be turned into 30sec TV ad without it looking like a kooky conspiracy theory?

A morph ad interspersed with totalitarian imagery or that mural of Trump kissing Vlad

The leak may have backfired. With DWS gone, Sanders got his one demand that most of thought was impossible. The democrats are going to be unified.

Yup, even Ben Jealous came around

Does it matter if Russia is helping Trump?
The leaks are true. DNC conspired against Bernie. Russia releasing this doesn't make this fact untrue.

Russia interfering in an American election is dangerous to democracy in this country

No, the DNC conspiring against a legitimate presidential candidate, that is what poses a danger to democracy in this country, not anything Russia does after the fact.

Of course Russia interfering in American elections is dangerous !
What are you bird-brains thinking.

They don't have 2 functional brain cells to rub together. They have been brainwashed by Trump

This is what Putin does, he tries to get leaders he can control into power. Look at Belarus, Lukashenko is controlled by Putin. All Putin would have to get Trump on board was let Trump's companies flood Russia's market with products and perhaps even control industries. Pay to play.
Do you really thing Vladimir Putin can control Donald Trump? Seriously?

Trump is no man's bitch.

Putin is hardcore KGB. Trump had five deferments from Vietnam and was a toy soldier in high school.

You do the math.

Nailed it.

That kind of attack has to be rolled out very carefully and you must ensure that all your ducks are lined up in a row. It also must have a feature where when doubters ask a question, you must be ready to reveal another piece of the puzzle to inflict maximum damage

More evidence indicates direct Russian involvement to help Trump:

Note that metadata on the wikileaks email hack indicates that the information went through Russian computers

Okay seriously, this is a bigger deal than DWS stacking the deck against Bernie. The CIA, State Dept. or whoever needs to get to the bottom of this now. We can't have foreign interests, especially Putin, trying to influence our elections. I'm sick at the thought of the Russia duping Bernie supporters into voting for Trump / staying home so they can install someone they prefer. What happened to the Republican Party that stood against this kind of stuff??

You knew a campaign as cautious as the Hillary campaign would not make such a charge unless they knew there was a case

If Hillary builds the narrative successfully, this would be an image from which Trump could never recover. There are certainly a lot of smoking guns in terms of optics, as mentioned above.

She has to build it very carefully. The rollout started well but one misstep will destroy the narrative and it'll fail
