Some people here seem to think this.

Do you believe that all communists in the world are evil, and are bad and awful people? That there is no communist in the world with humanitarian concern or who is a nice person?

yes, but the two ideologies are not comparable.

Lots of communists are just poor people who want a better way.

What about a poor Central American peasant whose village is constantly threatened by right wing death squads and the corrupt government, and the communists have defended the village and much of his family? Is he then wrong for joining the communists?

^^^^^

I also think it's false to say that the communist ideology is somehow better than the fascist one.  In reality, they both lead to the same thing -- poverty, war and mass murder.

Tito kept the people of Yugoslavia fed, did not get involved in any wars, and did not set up gulags, no "Cultural Revolution" or anything of the sort, and there was no mass purges or killings in Yugoslavia until the country's dissolution after his death.
