I doubt it. It's become such a Democratic stronghold and the Republican bench there amounts to... basically, their best guy isn't even eligible to run (Arnold) at all.

Maybe in a few decade, if Republicans prioritize economic issues and de-emphasize social issues.  But not in the near future.

I, for that matter, would like to think that I could carry California, especially because I would campaign like that. Smiley

For the foreseeable future, about as likely as a Dem winning Mississippi.

As a fiscalcon, sociolib party (though still conservative on crime), they could win Cali, but as you said.
And arguably it's even less likely than that- the GOP won 37%  in Cali while the Dems won 44% in Mis.

I accidentally posted before I corrected "what about" to "could". I had a comment alert, so I was rushed. But, Could Clinton have won Mississippi?

Sorry, historical revisionism won't play well any voter who has at least walked into a high school. You'd be lucky to get 37%.

Oh, the reason I did this feed is that Bush almost won CA. (or at least that's what I heard) My other question is did that happen?

Yeah, for me, that's close. I would expect 60% with Dems. to win California. There is tradition (since 1992) counting against any Rep. hoping to carry CA . I tried to carry CA on an Election game on the internet, and I lost, both CA, and most of the states! :0
