Maybe in a few decade, if Republicans prioritize economic issues and de-emphasize social issues.  But not in the near future.

I, for that matter, would like to think that I could carry California, especially because I would campaign like that. Smiley

So your ticket would look like what?

eg. Oldiesfreak1854/???

For the foreseeable future, about as likely as a Dem winning Mississippi.

...um, what about Clinton in 1996?....

Clinton did not Win Mississippi in 1996

I accidentally posted before I corrected "what about" to "could". I had a comment alert, so I was rushed. But, Could Clinton have won Mississippi?

Oh, the reason I did this feed is that Bush almost won CA. (or at least that's what I heard) My other question is did that happen?

in 2000 Gore beat Bush in California by 53.4% to Bush's 41.6%, in 2004 John Kerry beat Bush in California with 54.3% to Bush's 44.3%

Yeah, for me, that's close. I would expect 60% with Dems. to win California. There is tradition (since 1992) counting against any Rep. hoping to carry CA . I tried to carry CA on an Election game on the internet, and I lost, both CA, and most of the states! :0
