Not suprising. FNC has tapped into the market by using a three step plan.
1) Conservative slant to appeal to red state/middle america
2) Good looking news anchors. If you're going to hear about a bombing in Iraq, might as well hear it from Laurie Dhue or Dari Alexander.
3) Relentless repetition of the phrase "fair and balanced". Over time, you begin to believe it and you become a viewer for life.
Laurie Dhue has the most annoying voice of any news anchor I've ever heard.
I admit I used to get some pleasure out of watching THE O'REILLY FACTOR, and I do sort of like O'Reilly. I absolutely cannot stand HANNITY AND COLMES, however. Sean Hannity the conservative is what opebo is to the liberals. (I believe that says enough.)
