That's crazy. Huey Lewis and the News made pop music for 9-14 year olds. It's simple, paint-by-numbers stuff really. The production is schlocky and reeks of the worst of the 80s. The lyrics are all meh.

Elvis Costello, on the other hand, wrote amazing lyrics, worked with producers like Nick Lowe and created timeless albums like Imperial Bedroom, Get Happy, King of America, My Aim is True and This Year's Model.
