Yeah.  Congratulations, Clinton supporters.  I'm being genuine here.  I'm still not sold on her and I'll be remain skeptical if Warren isn't her veep, but I'm not obligated to defend bullsht like this.  Not anymore.

Two women running on the same ticket? That would be a first in many firsts.

It's absolutely asinine that Sanders's campaign stuff wasted no time to throw him under the bus but jfern continues to peddle his conspiratorial BS as if nothing happened.
He kinda of reminds me of a dog who refuses to abandon the dead body of his master.

Yeah, Sanders is probably going to drop out sometime in the next two weeks.

I'm happy that there are some Clinton supporters here that can see that there was a shift in tone and even the message.

Clinton falls under 60 in California.

Also, I entered in the margins for tonight into the demrace.com calculator, with one modification -  I assumed CA narrows to 56-44. I then gave Clinton a 70-30 win in DC, which actually is fairly generous to Sanders. The count among pledged delegates alone ends at approximately 2213-1868 Clinton, a lead of 375 pledged delegates. It also moves her up from 54% of pledged delegates to 55% of pledged delegates. What a great way for Clinton to conclude the primaries.

You lost, get over it.

And if Bernie doesn't smarten up soon and realize he's not the only one who has leverage here, he'll be getting the Willy Wonka treatment at the convention.

Question now is do I go to Sander's rally in DC or not? I love Bernie but I really really hate Berniebros and I know the people there would drive me nuts.

My final guesses are Clinton by 13 in CA, Sanders by 9 in MT.

There was no shift in tone. The reporters who cover him say that he does it many times, not attacking Clinton in one speech and then a few hours later hitting her hard in the next one.
It's one more sign of his erratic campaign and character.

Only the dregs will be left.  It will be entirely an r/sandersforpresident crowd, the true believers.

The peak of the speech was just "AND WE WILL... (simplistic talking point) (pause for applause) AND WE WILL..." on repeat.  The first ten minutes was him telling his supporters how great they all were as they chanted "Bernie or Bust!!", and then the last two minutes was him basically saying "yeah, Hillary won California", letting his supporters boo her, and then promising to go to the convention and skedaddling.  There was nothing diplomatic or certainly presidential about it.  It was just his standard concession speech.  Tell them it's their victory, give your stump speech, briefly acknowledge reality before promising to continue the fight in the next state and leave ASAP.

Sanders has a lot to think about on his long plane ride home to Vermont. Clinton defeated him by a double digit margin in raw popular votes. Clinton defeated him by over 300, likely over 350, pledged delegates. Clinton is loved by the superdelegates. There is no reason he should even try to contest Clinton's nomination.

Is San Francisco really nearly all in? Hillary is winning it by double digits...

Not unless somehow total votes dropped from 250k in '08 to 150k in '16.

Isn't Hillary going to end up with a majority of pledged delegates at the end of this?

Seriously, what's the fcking point?

Christ.  I thought I was disappointed a couple hours ago.

I'm done defending him.

Voter turnout is likely down across the state.

Heh, Santa Cruz county flipped to Sanders. My husband's hometown. Might be the only Bay Area county to go to him at this point...

Naah... less than 50% of the vote is in and remaining votes should break heavily for Bernie in the Bay.

Marin and SF will likely flip, and quite possibly Alemeda once all the votes are counted....

The Bern! gaining on Hillary!

Sanders breaks 40% for the first time all night in Cali with 43% in. Hillary! falls to 59%.

Are there still votes that come in after all the precincts are reported? Because SF and Marin are fully done and they both went to Clinton.
