Didn't Sharron Angle outraise Reid? Senate leaders make great lightning rods.

Coming out the primary, Angle was far behind, but was running even with Reid towards the end.

Can we post stuff about the House races here, too?

The Democrat running against Barr in CD6, Joe Palumbo, dropped his bid at the end of last week.

I'm not sure if Democrats have a candidate for this seat now. Grimes would likely carry this district even in a single-digit loss to McConnell, so Democrats really need to step up recruitment here.

Beshear to McConnell: Check your facts the next time you trash Obamacare.

Erickson: Cleaning up the GOP starts by ousting McConnell.

Hat tip to RRH. Probably expected, but FreedomWorks endorses Bevin.

Jensen is the best fundraiser and has actual establishment support. Even with her, its Lean R.

Still, Grimes would likely carry the district if she remains competitive (McConnell lost it in 2008 while winning by 6 points overall).

Bill Clinton campaigning for Grimes later this month.

Rand Paul says that candidates that took money from Clinton should give it back because of...Monica Lewinsky.

Bevin will inevitably be using this line to rile up support/fundraising:

Wow. Bevin speaking at a hearing in favor of cockfighting. Bevin tries to plead ignorance, but the evidence against him is pretty obvious.

And McConnell is already on the offense. One of his super PACs has a $560K buy.
