She's literally Palestinian-American. I don't necessarily endorse all her views, but I'm not sure what people want from her. "Yes, I'm going to endorse a guy who is committing genocide of my ancestral people?" If Biden came to your house and killed your family members, and then asked you for your vote, would you look at that as anything but literal insanity? Biden had the power to end this whole situation a long time ago, Tlaib never has it for one day. Go ahead, strip her of her committees, the power that her constituents who elected her gave her. Atlas has lost its sense over this issue. Goodness gracious.

You not only inaccurately label this as "genocide," then you falsely claim Biden is the one doing it (!), and then have the nerve to say that someone else has "lost its sense." OK Buddy.

The Biden administration is STILL assessing whether Israel has violated Biden's "redline".

This is unbelievable.

You would think that this came from The Onion, but it's not.

Once again, Trump puts foot firmly in mouth on an issue that could actually win him the election.

Biden may support Bibi to an unhealthy extent, but Trump literally wants to deport protestors which is to me un-American. The choice should be clear to the professional protesting class which is the lesser of two evils.

It's a privilege to receive a student visa not a right.

Not sure what that has to do with my post?

Pretty certain a majority of the protesters are American college students.
Well a lot of them aren't so deport them, you can't just come here burn american flags say death to america and be shocked when your forced to leave.

Most aren't burning flags or saying death to America. Most just oppose America's support of Israel with regard to Gaza. No one should be deported for speaking their mind unless said speech incites violence or such.

Well they are, a lot of them are advocating violence against ""zionists" and are saying there a need for a global intifada or being violent against counter-protestors, so again my point still stand they should be deported or at the least investigated.

Investigate, sure. Deport without, no. I say this as someone who had a roommate who is considered a Muslim radical, btw.

Did he participate in encampments or join protests openly celebrating a terrorist attack on our ally. Any person who does that on a student visa should have their student visa stripped from them regardless of what they were protesting for.

The average American will either not care or outright support Trump removing foreign students who are Palestinian protestors. Even a lot of younger voters are mixed, may sympathize with both sides, see reasons for Israel conducting this war but dislike Bibi and think he is overdoing it.

None of these protestors getting arrested care one bit about the stars and stripes. We don't need people in here who are either chanting "death to America" or telling us how terrible the country and the need to dismantle our system. The goal of our university system is to strengthen the country by promoting our ideals through education, not provide wannabe despots with tools to be used against us.

And let's face it, within this movement there are plenty of Stalinist types who if given an opportunity would commit unspeakable crimes. Read their literature and websites and you will quickly realize this is not a peaceful movement. All it will take is one major act of violence and Marc Lamont Hill and other Stalinists' academic careers will come to a very end per federal legislation ($$$ will be cut off).

Barrett. I don't expect 2024 to be a very D-friendly year in Michigan. Thanks for nothing, Rashida.
