Any news at all on Democrats not named Hillary Clinton?

Not right now, but here's more news on Hillary Clinton….

The week after Easter is being pegged as the likely launch window for Clinton 2016:

Good timeframe, though I probably would've opted for February or March. I think the people pushing her to announce in December/January were being shortsighted.

So at that Freedom Summit, we'll have quite a large number of possible candidates:

Bolton
Carson
Christie
Cruz
Fiorina
Gilmore
Huckabee
Perry
Santorum
Trump
Walker

And probably some others who I'm forgetting.  It's like a mini-CPAC.

O'Malley is scheduled to speak in Chicago today on “progressive politics in a post-Obama world.”

Yet because he just has a PAC and not a real campaign or exploratory committee, he won't be able to use any of that $ directly on his own (eventual) presidential campaign.

Is this sort of like your "insider information" that you had in 2012?:

Romney has recently sounded the most open to another bid than ever before.

I'm *shocked* to learn that all of his previous denials didn't mean anything.  Tongue

Rubio says his family's onboard and he's checked all boxes except deciding where he'd be more effective.

More Romney: He met with his senior advisors on Wednesday night:

Also, on Fiorina:

Seems dumb of him. All his major donors have gone to Jeb Bush.

Well, let's just say that nobody ever said that Rubio's biggest problem is that he is too smart.

I know somebody who is a Rubio insider, and I haven't dared to ask him (nor would I say here if I did) if Rubio is running, but judging by this insiders credentials, I think Rubio is 100% running  for reelection next year. This is just publicity to bulk up his credentials as a high profile Senator and a "mover and a shaker."

Mildly more substantive. Knowing people in the local party organization, as a member of our campus branch, has its benefits.

When do you imagine Romney will announce if he does go through with it? Later this month or in February seems the most logical to me so that donors don't escape from his hands.
