Uncommon, highly so. The Social score doesn't mean that much, though it could use a few points of trimming, but the Economic score needs to go way down.

will be at least 5 points more conservative economically in 3 years.

In that case, I'd still be to the left of you. Tongue

Boring generic liberal score.

Not as negative as I thought it would be.
That's because it's obtained by boycotting the "very important" button. Cheesy

Is astonished Lewis does not use the "very important" button.
Well, the problem is: Lots of the questions are badly worded and/or my positions don't fit the answer options well. Using the "this issue is very important to me" button leads to oversampling the issues where such problems don't crop up - there are issues that are important to me where I wouldn't use the button because I'm not content with the poll options - which in turn leads not only to a more extreme score but also to a much more marked, and I think: misleading, gap between my economic and social scores. After all, the reason politics revolves mostly around social issues these days is that the answers are so much easier.

EDIT: Just noticed that the score I'm displaying actually has a stronger negative economic than social score... making for misleading reading. What I meant was that using that button leads to a much more negative social score.

Nope. My score is a fairly clear refutation of your theory.

Why is the E so low? I expected it to be closer to mine.

How do you figure?

What do you mean?

My comments about the score stand.

you move five points right, and you'd still be to the left of me economically?

Left in general, and only right economically by .04 point.

A fairly uncommon score; it's rare to see economic that much lower.

Interesting, though not surprising. I'd have expected S to be -2 or so.

Yes and progressive taxation. But I've answered every other economic issue in a more free market way.

That's...strange. Don't know what to make of it.

Basically I want to invest more in healthcare and education, but want to streamline everything else. I want America's economy to be more competitive and a smaller more efficient government. I really resent the annoying regulations myself and my friends have to deal with. Let me put it this way: if half the people you knew were doing under the table work in order to make actual money and you needed a license to give back rubs in your home state.. Your opinion on a lot of issues would probably change.

That's reasonable. But to me, it's a matter of wealth redistribution more than anything.

So you hate our Godly capitalism here in America? I hope one day you grow out of your socialist leanings.

And I hope that one day you understand that poor-hating is not a virtue.
