So just to summarize this caucus:

- It's in the morning (?!?!?!?)
- Has card games in case of ties
- People can vote in both the D and R side
- Nobody even knows when the polls close

This is truly a disgrace. Harry Reid should be ashamed of himself.

I'm glad I live in a primary state. Don't have to waste my time caucusing!

Too bad by the time our state votes, your choices are usually to vote for the winner, some guys who dropped out, or fringe candidates.

It looks like Hillary is headed for a thumping. High turnout, low black turnout, losing Hispanics, liberals up from 45% last time to 70% this time, lots of young people, you name it. She might be lucky to lose by only 10 points.

lol

The fact of the matter is that Bernie needs a win here considering what is coming next (SC and Super Tuesday.) It's time to stop holding Bernie to 2014 standards.

CNN already spinning it as a loss for Clinton no matter what happens.

In other news, water is wet.

You'd think people would've learned by now not to call a close race so early. Remember how Hillary was inevitable in Iowa?

Fox entrance poll - Latinos (20% of the vote) 54-43% Sanders
Independents 75-20% Sanders

Independents? Isn't this a closed caucus?

It's not over yet, but things are looking better for Hillary. Sanders needs to improve in Clark soon.

PredictIt now rolling 90% Hillary, 12% Sanders.
CNN is pretty determined to make this a win for Bernie though, even though it's starting to not even be that close anymore.  Clinton is a solid +3.5 now

According to the media, Bernie doing better than the ~5% he polled at in 2014 is automatically a win for him. Roll Eyes

And Hillbots criticize Bernbots for being conspiracy theorists.

I didn't realize facts could be conspiracies.

CNN: "The tightness of this race breaks the narrative that Bernie Sanders cannot appeal to a diverse segment of the electorate".

@HagridOfTheDeep

We already knew the media was going to spin it in favor of Bernie even if Hillary won by 10 points. They'd just say she was up by 20-30 a month ago and "blew it." The real problem for Bernie is that if he loses, he'll only have a single win in his back pocket (in his own backyard) while going into hostile territory over the next 2 weeks.

The way the Democrat system works he can survive even while losing states, then a bunch of Sanders-friendly states vote in late March and early April.  This race will almost certainly remain competitive for another couple months regardless of the result tonight.

I'm not convinced he could justify his candidacy if he gets wiped out on Super Tuesday and the March 15th states.

Everyone spins everything. Iowa was good for Bernie because he was once down by 50. It was good for Clinton because it was supposed to be a great state for Bernie. New Hampshire was great for Bernie, because he crushed Hillary there. It was no big deal for Hillary, because it was practically a home state for Bernie. Coming close in Nevada is great for Bernie, because he can compete in a diverse state. For Hillary in Nevada, a win is a win.

Very true. The difference is that 90% of the media always buys into the anti-Hillary spin.

Hillary was supposed to be inevitable.  The fact that Sanders had a chance at winning Nevada shows how bad the Hillary campaign has been.

Nice moving the goalposts. And she is inevitable.

Hillbots complaining about moving the goalposts?

I've never moved the goalposts. Back in early 2015 I thought Sanders could potentially win IA/NH and some other states in his best case scenario. Nice try though.

Can we all agree to ignore entrance polls from now on? They had Sanders ahead here and Hillary comfortably ahead in Iowa.

Well, we have to analyze something in the hours leading up to the poll closings...

Fine, I guess it's better than "omg, young people in line! Bernie has this! HOLY sh**t I SAW A BLACK PERSON IN LINE, HILLARY IS INEVITABLE!"

But still, let's remember to take them with a pillar of salt from now on.

Nevada details: 49% want to continue Obama policies - Hillary Clinton won 74% of them

56% were women - she won 55%

The furious NH women were out of state on vacation. This explains everything.
