It's nice to see Santorum, the reasonable alternative to Romney, get some well-deserved attention for the first time since Iowa. I'll never understand why Gingrich got more attention than him. Hopefully Gingrich will get creamed in Arizona/Michigan, and decide to drop out.
So, Politico, if I understand you, your personal position is that being a "big government conservative" is a "reasonable alternative" to Romney's notion of Republicanism, whatever that is?
I find it a tad be ironic that you are trying to appeal to Tea Party folk by saying Santorum's policies are antithetical to their beliefs when you, yourself, think Santorum's position are "reasonable."
