Some of this is guessing, but my family does talk politics every so often so I can get a good idea.

Paternal Grandfather - passed away in the early 1980's, but was a union member and I am told a staunch Democrat

1956-1980: Democrats

Paternal Grandmother - also a loyal Democrat through now, loves the Clintons

1956-2012: Democrats
2004 primary: John Edwards
2008 primary: Hillary Clinton
2016: #Ready

Maternal Grandfather - loyal Republican, "old-school" style, would despise the Tea Party had he lived to see it

1952-1956: Republicans
1960: John Kennedy
1964-2008: Republicans
2000 primary: John McCain
2008 primary: John McCain

Maternal Grandmother - a Republican-leaning independent until about 2000 and staunchly Republican since, proud member of the moderate wing of the party

1952-1956: Republicans
1960: John Kennedy
1964: Lyndon Johnson
1968-1992: Republicans
1996: Bill Clinton
2000-2012: Republicans
2000 primary: John McCain
2008 primary: Mitt Romney
2012 primary: Mitt Romney
2016: Wants Chris Christie
